Ask ko lang, regarding T junctions, walang sign that says no right turn on red, wla rin sign that says pwede mag right turn on red, is it then illegal doing a right turn on the said junction?

i was once accosted for turning right on red light.
"magandang umaga po. kumanan po kayo sa red light."
"opo. buti na lang, hindi bawal."
"have a good day, po. drive safely."

there was once a pair of hitch hikers. on their shirts were written, "caution" on one, "care" on the other.
