i think it is their personal speed limit. No misconceptions there. No need to reiterate your threads purpose

I try to stick to 60. Regular days don't even need to pay any attention to it because traffic will be bad anyway.

With streets as clear as they are now I'd probably be doing 100 or 120 and not even notice until I look down on the speedo. A loong time ago when we had no enforced speed limits (or speed guns) and much less traffic that was probably my cruising speed. It didn't feel particuarly fast, just a nice decent pace to be going. Just like cruising interstates as a comfy 75mph.

My limit is 60kph for both Esda and C5. I only do 80-100 pag sa NLEX / SLEX. And I only go past 100 if mag-oovertake sa expressway.

What is your personal speed limit when driving along EDSA and C5?

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    Not unless may emergency...

EDSA - 80km/h - I feel like present state ng EDSA, kawawa car ko if I exceeed 80

C5 - 60km/h - since some parts of C5 is really bad, yung ibang parts naman sobrang dilim
whats kawawa? I mean the engine will rev up. It is normal naman.

Edsa does open up at night, 60kph cruise and accelerating to 80-100 in a few seconds is good though.

he probably means, maingay ang makina niya at 80 kph.
engines do not have feelings, but the sound and vibration (diesel? heh heh.) can be uncomfortable to some drivers.

There are people who start loosing their nerves when their car’s tachometer go past 4k rpm. Dinadaga na dibdib nila. Hehehehe

Not the engine... the suspension, mags & tires

In Singapore, recommended na palitan shocks after 5 years (half ng life ng car) despite the fact na ang ganda ng roads nila

We paid for the whole speedometer and tachometer, so we're gonna use it all.

Same goes to the number of horses and torque our engines create; we paid for it all.
