We need to transfer my wife's company car to her name when we renew its registration. A check with the LTO website shows that we would need a TMG clearance. I can't seem to find the TMG website to check the nearest office. Appreciate links please thanks.

I think you should be going to Camp Crame for the necessary clearance specifically with their Highway Patrol Group. Here's a link which can be of help to you:

check your local LTO if there is a satellite TMG/HPG office, prepare all the documents on said PDF above..., pa photocopy ka din ng payment order and payment reciept from landbank just to be on the safe side...

    ^ tama nga kayo bos.

in connection w/ this topic, iniiwan ba sa hpg or lto iyong mga orig docs like the deed of sale, sec cert, and the or/cr kapag apply ng change of ownership? i'm in the process of doing this procedure myself pero next week ko pa maasikaso since i just completed all the required docs yesterday

you bring photocopy of the orig documents, they will compare it and get the photocopy only, original docs goes to LTO only...

tip din sa las pinas, never let your car out of your sight even infront of a police officer, you have been warned

all orig i mean ALL goes only to LTO, photo copy lang sa TMG, at first yong payment order at resibo sa TMG din (need mo din sila bigyan ng photocopy) but after the clearance (3days) isoli din syo yng original

mag ingat sa salisi gang habang naka open ang engine bay at doors mo, its part of defensive driving (although naka park ka nito LOLz) meaning "only you are responsible for your own safety and no one else is" - you have been warned

another tip is: for me it took me two days to accomplish step 1, meaning day 1 i had to get the payment order from TMG there, then day 2 go to landbank and pay, after that go back to LTO and show them the payment slip, then thats the only time they will do their work... (both i had the car brought at LTO/TMG)

WARNING! it is against the law to give a government official anything of value w/o an official receipt...
