Guys, wag nyo nang itolerate yang mga lagay lagay / areglo na yan. Pay the fine. Get a receipt. Charge it to experience. Or contest it through the legal means.

At least alam nyong sa gobyerno ang punta hindi sa kaunting tao lamang.

korek. i'd rather pay the penalty kaysa areglo.

in general it's true na dapat pay the fine, lalo na yung mag sala ka talaga. in my experience di pa ako nag-try makipag-areglo kasi it sticks in my throat that i'm condoning the corruption of government.

but have you lined up from 7am to 12noon at MMDA here in Makati to get your license back? i have. try to figure out how valuable that time is to you.. as for me, if ever the MMDA gets me again, i'll try to wiggle out of it. sobrang hassle. buti pa sa Makati, they're efficient that i only "lose" an hour of time. that, i can live with.

Siguro kasama na sa parusa yung ma-inconvenience...

I mean, di ka naman pipila kung wala kang violation di ba?

So the safest bet is to not violate the law.

Don't get me wrong. I've been stopped for violations several times by both MAPSA and MMDA folks. Once lang akong tiniketan back in the 90s and I paid it at ULTRA pa for a violation in Araneta/N Domingo, and I lived in QC. Other times they just let me go with a warning. Walang lagay.

Nakapag-lagay din ako twice when I was in college. Somehow when it was my own money I started thinking about it. Or maybe I just realized the obvious.

that is SO true. the problem is pag hahanapan ka ng violation para makakuha ng pang-merienda.
