It is taking too long for a plate and sticker be issued to a new vehicle.

For a company, it delays operation and for an individual, it is costly.

Based on experience, it took me about 2 months after I got my OR/CR last February to get the plate. It has been over 3 months the sticker is still not available!!!! TOO BAD!

dapat banko central na magprint ng stickers at kung ano pang mga papel na gagamitin ng gov't. since the new peso bills are imported... tambak na lang yung mga printing equipment dun... gamitin na lang pang print ng not so sensitive stuff kung pwede yug makina. kesa i-pa subcon pa sa ibang printers an may tongpats nanaman sigurado yan.

WOW! Grabe na! Hindi pala ako nag-iisa. I'm somewhat lucky since I already have the plate.

Palipat-lipa ng supplier ang LTO. Also if you're after a partucular number like 7 or 8, mas matagal ang waiting time.

We got our x-wind, 3/25. The plates and sticker arrived before the week before the Holy week. Last digit-7.

I believe your Altis is from TQA, right? This TQA is notorious for being slow with the release of plates. I know of a Grandia purchased last Dec 2010 but received the plates only recently. Another Innova purchased Jan 2011 upto now no plates yet.

Yet other dealers like Cubao is really quick. Three weeks only and the owner received their plates already.

We bought a car in October 2010 - plates took 2 months to arrive.

We bought another car from the same place in January 2011, this time the SA asked for P500 for "request of coding day" - plates arrived in under 2 weeks.

Go directly to the Lto branch where your delears register your vehicles. And just talk to the Lto chief of that branch.

Twice ko na ginawa 30 minutes Lang binigay kaagad Sa akin yun plates ko. Sasadyain mo lang talaga.

i am still trying to figure this out

we just bought a reconditioned multicab, japan surplus, no license plate in cebu city

less than ONE WEEK after we bought it, may license plate na, stickers, OR and CR. the beginning letter however is K, i.e. it is not a cebu assigned letter but cagayan de oro ata

suspicious, i then texted the LTO vehicle verification service and, lo and behold, talagang registered na ang multicab, legally and legitimately. it is in the records already

ang bilis. bakit hindi ito magawa sa mga bagong sasakyan?

p.s. for my brand new vehicle however, i did get my plates and stickers exactly 33 days from the time the unit was delivered to me

my experience was worst with LTO. after waiting for a couple months for my plates, i thought ok na. fast forward after almost 3 years, renewal na so i inquired sa LTO vehicle verification service and to my surprise, my vehicle is not in the LTO database. nakalimutan daw i-upload ng LTO .whaaaaah.

hay only in the philippines talaga. buti na lang naayos ng dealer. so after your yearly registration, ensure to verify if your vehicle is updated in LTO database.
