Even my wife and kids says that 100kmph is too slow to be the max limit.

agree ako. dapat 120kph man lang. kulang ang 100kph for private cars. and yes, dapat bawal mag babad sa left most lane kapag below 120 ang takbo

Sana nga 120kph man lang.
LOL.

Dapat may statistics of accidents before and after the speed limit was implemented. Did it drastically cut down accidents or no change?

Unlike commonwealth, puro motorcycles, PUVs and dilapidated vehicles combines, kaya kailangan dun talaga ng speed limit.

March 15th, 2012 01:53 AM #28Grabe 100 km/h is too damn slow. Waste of money.
Kung ganun, eh sa baba nalang ako.
Hayzz, I guess kelangan na ng radar detector (like Passport or Valentine One).
P.S.
Siya nga pala:
Yung sa recent strict implementation ng 100 km/h speed limit sa Skyway...........may allowance or tolerance ba ito (like + 20 km/h so 100 km/h + 20 km/h = 120 km/h pwede pa???)

BTW, make sure you are buying multi-frequency and radar/laser detectors. Different highways use different systems.
And read up how to use the detectors before buying them. They are NOT 100% solutions. They are just tools to give you an edge or a fighting chance against speed detectors.

March 15th, 2012 02:59 PM #30What mode of detection ba ang existing use ng SLEX ngaun? If it is the speed camera then no use na ang mga radar detector. The CCTV camera tower along SLEX are almost 1km apart lang and given the Zoom function of modern cameras I think overlapping na sya sa current CCTV coverage ng slex. The only free pa sa Camera I think is the portion from the new Sto Tomas...STAR/SLEX extension.
Choice I would have made as well.
