Peeps I have a dilemma. Next year, my company will send me to the US for training. Problem is my license will expire June 2008. Do you know if they have a rule that says that you need to have a license at least 6 months before it expires? I'll be there probably on Feb, Mar or Apr. Training will last 2 months.

If there's a rule can I renew my license as early as January?

Good day Sir! Why not get an international license at the AAP (Automobile Association Philippines) Office? Their numbers are: 723-0909 or 726-0191. God bless!

Agree. However, the International License will always be referencing your Philippine License, including the latter's expiration date.

I think it depends per state. Check this Google search for the particular state you'll be visiting for guidelines

Yes! If you are a NON-Resident and 18 yrs old or above you could use you driver license to drive here in United States. You must have your valid DL and your Passport w/ you all the time whenever you operate a (car, suv, van etc)vehicle. You cannot use for driving a hazardous material.

Yeah I need to drive. Ma-assign ako sa Bayarea and pahirapan ang commute doon. Well for me, pahirapan hehe.

They need to take the Bart and find their way to their hotels.
