Still don't understand why they don't just close the u-turn slots and open a new one at the old Jollibee intersection, instead, as it's the proper distance from Eastwood...

Or simply reopen the intersection... as it provides a release valve for the entire area, shunting traffic to White Plains.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

agree. accident prone pa yung mga swerving vehicles dahils sa u-turn. by closing this will solve the other 2 problems (#3 & 3, hehe) numbers 1 and 4 can be solved by the MMDA traffic enforcers manning the u-turn slot to transfer to the jeepney stop and address the jaywalkers when the u-turn slot is closed. so again, this problem doesnt need a rocket scientist or Attorney to solve. Only common sense can!!

Sir Niky, maybe Atty Tolentino will lsiten to you since you are a known writer from a Top Car Magazine. May we kindly request for your assistance in calling his attention directly or thru your Magazine by asking your editor in chief to write an article about this area. Ganyan kasi mga Politiko eh, they dont listen to the common tao because they feel they have a monopoly of bright ideas.

To think that C-5 is a major artery that serves as an alternative route from South to North (SLEX-NLEX). This is one bottleneck that can be easily solved with the proper political will. If they will not close this, then I am inclined to believe that they are getting some reward (monetary or otherwise) by keeping this open.

Kung yun ngang U-turn slot under EDSA flyover - Quezon Ave corner and the u-turn slot for Biak na Bato St right after the newly opened QA- araneta tunnel na-close nila, bakit hindi nila ma-close eto?

    EASTWOOD: U-TURN SLOT

    Reference No. 2012012

REPLY FROM TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CENTER (TEC)

THAT'S PLAIN BS. They don't own or control C5, specifically that center island and U-turn slot.
