Ako din, minsan naiisip ko na sana may mag form ng group na tipong a**hole PUV driver death squad. Yung pag para nila, bigla nalang babarilin ung driver and conductor kasi sobrang reckless mag drive and ung conductor ay walang paki.

Yes, age really helps in keeping pride in check. Mas nari realize mo kasi ung priorities mo kaysa pag pinatulan mo ang isang motorist due to your pride.

I have been watching Russian Road Rage and Accidents recently in YouTube and one thing I have observed, parang mga tanga at engot. Sa sobrang laki ng ego ng both parties, bababa sila at mag susuntukan, sipaan, labas ng baseball bat, ax, baril, etc then pagkatapos, balik sa mga auto nila then alis. Parang mga tanga. Minsan may mga minalas dahil binaril.

True, all we can learn from this is how the one quick, thoughtless decision can have such a big impact in our lives, and that of our loved ones. That's precisely i always labor hard to keep my pride in check and temper under control. Thankfully age and experience also helps.

Ano ba tips to keep cool, espcially at the first 2 minutes of the incident. I admit yung mga unang segundo ng insidente may ego/high blood/galit takes over me and logic and rational decision goes out the window. Minsan inuunahan ako ng pangamba na baka may baril yung kabilang party, pero most of the time hindi.

Actually, that thought should be sobering enough to dissuade you from escalating it further, unless the other guy really makes a threatening gesture with a weapon. Then think, is it really worth it over a busted side mirror?

Notorious na ata ang Solid North dito sa Dagupan sa ganyang ugali ng driver nila. Just two months ago sa terminal nila dito, L300 naman ang sapul. Kakaliwa si SN papasok sa terminal nila, nasa inner lane sya, at nasa outer lane naman si L300. Ayun inabot si L300.

Bus drivers are notorious for their driving. Provincial buses in our area (Metro Manila-Sta. Cuz, Laguna) are relatively good boys but others I have encountered in other places esp Metro Manila buses are a**holes.

I am not familiar with rules of engagement for civilians with guns. But I could have given a warning shot then a shot to the leg.
Stones vs guns. A no brainer. But then again, I dont own a gun.

What is the take of the lawyers here? Is a self-defense defense defensible? heheh

For civilians, it is only allowed to draw when you intend to fire and kill. Drawing for show is gun toting or brandishing and is considered illegal. Shooting to disable means there is no imminent danger and imminent danger is needed so the shooter can come clean of the act. So when a civilian shoots, he should be in imminent danger and therefore have the intent to kill his opponent.

If the opponent survive, shooter will just claim he was a bad shot but his intent was to really kill in order to save himself.

Ang masaklap nito kakagaling lang nung pick-up sa Baguio nagbakasyon yung buong pamilya yata. I can just imagine ang saya-saya ng stay nila sa Baguio and then pagbaba lang eh trahedya naman aabutin nila... although from the news it seems he brought it upon himself din. Kaya ako, kahit pinipilit ng mga barkada kumuha ng baril ayaw ko rin. Mainitin din ulo ko kaya baka makapang-massacre ng di oras.
