This is a captian obvious sign that the MMDA personnel in charge of whatever don't drive and know squat about traffic flow.

Conspiracy theory ko lang ito. I feel na yun mga yellow boys sa kanto ng Buendia and Paseo ay may instruction na i-override yun traffic light doon sa kanto and reduce the time na yun coming from the Fort. Twice last week, pinapa-go nila yun galing sa other lanes (from Bel-air, Paseo and Makati Ave) maski maluwag naman sila. Naka backed up na super ang traffic from Fort and maski green na ang lights, pinapago yun mga iba. Then when kami na go, magbilang ka ng 10 seconds, pinapa stop na.

I noticed that too. Kaya maaga pa lang abot na nang st.lukes yung traffic. Whats up with that?

Yung ibang yellow boy dyan, walang ginawa kundi magabang ng coding at beating the red light.

They have been doing this for quite a while already (ever since i started working in Makati ten years ago); they prioritize traffic coming out of Makati in the afternoon while in the morning, they prioritize traffic going into Makati. The big difference now is that in the past year alone, traffic volume to and from BGC has increased drastically.

One way they could fix this before was to have made a right-turn slot coming from Paseo de Roxas (Makati CBD side) going into Buendia so the vehicles coming from Paseo during rush hour could merge faster with Buendia however they never thought of expropriating the corner lot for that before a new building was built. IMO, they should already build an underpass at the Buendia - Paseo de Roxas and Buendia - Makati Ave. intersections.

feeling ko din, they delay the flow of traffic from BGC, para yung mga humahabol nang coding until 7am tiyak na huli talaga at lampas na nang 7am... tsk2x...

FYI: avoid the Net 3/Shang area. Sumayad ang isang trailer sa safety nets over the road and daming saradong street. Traffic is now bunched up around The Mind Museum and Net 2.

It's been 2 days and every morning, traffic to buendia kalayaan flyover has been backed up till st.lukes... it's getting worse.

Kasalanan ng ng yellowboys overriding the traffic lights at the buendia paseo intersection. I witnessed it first hand that they give priority and more time to the other lanes instead the one coming from Fort maski konti lang cars on the other lanes. I think they do this on purpose pero its working against them kasi a lot of companies are thinking of moving out of Makati dahil nga mahirap pumasok sa loob ng kanilang CBD.

surprisingly mas free flowing ang mckinley road to makati from bgc compared to the one big chokepoint in buendia, kalayaan caused by the yellowboys.... i think i'm gonna follow this route for the meantime...

Shhhh... don't spread the word. :D

Actually, hindi controlled ng yellow boys ang EDSA - Ayala intersection if that's one difference (unlike the Buendia - Paseo intersection).

Some parts of McKinley narrow down to one lane because of the drainage improvement. I still prefer waiting in traffic under the trees (counting squirrels and counterflowing jacka$$e$) than on an exposed concrete bridge though
