I think BGC was managed well enough by Taguig. How is Makati proposing to improve on this? Imposing number coding and higher taxes in BGC is definitely not an improvement. At the end of the day, the motivational factor that I can see here is greed. It is politically motivated and does not really have the best interests of the citizens of BGC. In my humble opinion, letting Makati rule over Taguig is not good for BGC citizens. why not let the BGC citizens vote as to who they want to run their community.

They are harping about the "embo" communities and how these were largely ignored but even back then when these were part of Makati, they were largely ignored and were only visited by politicians during election season.

wala nang kwenta ang BGC ngayon, they always turn off their traffic lights and let those imbecile security guards mismanage the traffic. lagi nilang iniipon and at the corner of the lexus going to kalayaan, kanya kanyang counterflow.... those guards could not even do anything about it..

If they hold this, one big factor is kung gaano ka-controlled ng Taguig yung barangays involved rather than BGC itself in which case, most likely kaunti lang ang registered voters.

Q.C. had a referendum before, on whether to spin-off Novaliches as a city on its own or not. Talo yung Novaliches cityhood proponents.

how can you expect bright ideas to come from MMDA when most of the people there are previous metro aides street sweepers and oyster boys. their chairman and department heads are all officed in an airconditioned room not really knowing the day to day problems at the streets.

On a sidenote, bow ako sa mga street sweepers na nakikita ko. Mas masipag kumilos kaysa mga TE na walang ginawa kundi tumayo na parang gago.

FYI: avoid the Net 3/Shang area. Sumayad ang isang trailer sa safety nets over the road and daming saradong street. Traffic is now bunched up around The Mind Museum and Net 2.

It's been 2 days and every morning, traffic to buendia kalayaan flyover has been backed up till st.lukes... it's getting worse.

Kasalanan ng ng yellowboys overriding the traffic lights at the buendia paseo intersection. I witnessed it first hand that they give priority and more time to the other lanes instead the one coming from Fort maski konti lang cars on the other lanes. I think they do this on purpose pero its working against them kasi a lot of companies are thinking of moving out of Makati dahil nga mahirap pumasok sa loob ng kanilang CBD.

Ang bgc kasi is similar to intramuros, kung sa loob ka lang gagala ok ang traffic, pero kung papasok or lalabas ka na dyan na ang traffic, poor planning talaga. Sa laki ng kinikita nila sa mga business na lumipat sa loob hindi man lang nila mabawasan ung perang pumapasok para bilhin ung mga properties sa mga choke point areas para palaparin ang road.

surprisingly mas free flowing ang mckinley road to makati from bgc compared to the one big chokepoint in buendia, kalayaan caused by the yellowboys.... i think i'm gonna follow this route for the meantime...

Actually, hindi controlled ng yellow boys ang EDSA - Ayala intersection if that's one difference (unlike the Buendia - Paseo intersection).

Some parts of McKinley narrow down to one lane because of the drainage improvement. I still prefer waiting in traffic under the trees (counting squirrels and counterflowing jacka$$e$) than on an exposed concrete bridge though
