hmm, my take on those tinted licence plate protectors is pam-porma lang talaga..saw a couple of black cars that have this on their rides..ok naman tingnan...nga lang..barely readable na yung plate..minsan nga sa sobrang dark tint na ginamit, you cant read the plate na talaga.

pag nasagasaan kayo ng naka tint na plates at dim niyo nakuha plate number....

kung na hit and run kayo ng naka tint na plates at di niyo rin nakita ang number...

    bibili pa ba kayo?!?!

wag naman sana kayo ma sagasaan at ma hit and run.

Sorry medyo mali nagamit kong term. Anyway I was referring to those green/blue shaded ones. I want to have a green shaded one kasi green car ko. Anyway, we're kinda getting off topic, please suggest more places to buy these shaded covers. :D Thanks!

question lang po... why do you want to use one? para hindi masyado visible ang plate no? unless siguro na may gagawin kang kalokohan, then go. plates are suppose to be visible, kahit gabi.
i agree with glenn with his what ifs...
bili na lang kayo ng deflector. pricey, but malinis tignan.

I think I answered this na before. In my case I want to add a little pampaganda lang because I observed cars with this glass plate cover and they all look one step more elegant than those with none (just my opinion). I'm planning to get the green shaded one soon. It's not a matter of the plate's visibility by the way. I don't plan to buy one of those that are too dark to see its plate.

I have yung clear lang ... para lang maganda tingnan ;-) di naman siya mahirap makita ... I've seen cars with blue naman ... I don't find it hard to spot their plate number kahit 3 meters pa layo ... I guess it depends on how dark the tint is.

Agree naman ako na if yung intention mo is to hide your plate number by obscuring it under heavy tint eh mali yun, pero very light tint lang. just to give your plate number a different hue instead of that plain white/green

Btw, I had mine manufactured ... a friend of mine is into plastics so I asked him to cut me the size of a plate number ... bored holes into both of them and ayos na! :-) hehe the cost of the plastic is 200 petot

It does help keep the plate nice and shiny since it keeps the road grime away... makes the car look better also for the discriminating eye if i may add.

i think when you get the plate covers (if its the glass type) wala pang butas yun. so papabutas mo pa either dun sa shop na pinagbilhan mo or sa glass/aluminum shops..they have specific drill bit for glass kasi eh
