I've had two black vehicles, and the only time the police have specifically checked on me is when we were waiting for my sister, double parked on the side of the road at Taft at 3am.

It's his tint, for sure. Or maybe he just hangs around Aurora Boulevard after midnight way too often...

I'd ask why sirens and emergency lights are available for sale to the public also... The sale of these things are not banned... but the improper use of them is.

Dark tints are illegal because cops can't see inside the car... which is dangerous for you, especially if they mistake you for a carnapper. Even worse, you can't see the road outside the car when it's dark, which makes you a danger to others.

A light tint is usually enough to ensure privacy. And the good sense not to open or unlock your car when street hoodlums are around or to drive down deserted streets at night.

cguro as long as yung harap eh hnd naka tint or basta visible yung driver ok lng kahit na dark tints ung iba. kc pag ganito, nakikita naman ng mga police kung sino ung driver. just a thought lng.

False. Yung sa tito ko nga pati mags black and yung Headlight is parang may tint din eh hindi hinuhuli.

IMO mas ilang ang mga cops and not TAKOT kapag dark tinted ang sasakyan.

i have a black car with a neutral black tint sa windshield and medium black sa sides (halos hindi na kita yong loob galing sa labas lalo na pag gabi). so far wala pang huli o para. in fact, nong first day ng gun ban napadaan ako sa checkpoint sa libis, pinadiretso lang ako ni mamang pulis samantalang andaming mga ibang auto and motor na chinecheck at that time. it can't be my car kasi sedan lang yon, hindi autong pang-pulitiko.

depende siguro sa mood ng philippines' finest.
