Last time I heard it was 3 months.. seems paiba-iba yun info. Best to inquire at LTO directly.

For me, nagexpire din muna student permit ko before I got a non-pro. Mostly due to the fact na twice ako kumuha kasi nawala ko resibo ng una

Here's the LTO ruling to go Professional Licence:

Valid Student Permit (at least 5 months old or four months old Non Prof License)

Pwede direct Pro from Student Permit...

itīs not that my wife doesnīt want to take the driving test. Got her license
in LTO SFU before....non -pro license
she is now renewing her license in LTO CAR,
my question is does she gonna take a driving test eveytime she renew her license?
she took it for 3 DAYS renewing her license....
imagine, pabalik-balikin ka. akala ko online ang LTO???

If just plain renewal, no need to take driving exams, not unless the license has expired for more than 2 years.

yup. if it's just a renewal, wala ng actual driving test.

regarding sa madalas na pag-offline ng mga regional LTO Branches ay hindi naman totally na sila ang may pagkukulang. Kahit sa LTO CAR ay pwedeng maging ganun din, considering the geographic location ng mga offices outside of MM. LTO's main database and its computer network just cant handle the load ...
