sa akin naman... naiisip ko is 15K para siguradong di pareho last number ng cars mo

kay misis naka-pangalan lahat ng vehicles namin.

this year, bumili kami ng 2 motor (yes, exempted sa coding ang motor)

pero if you look at our plates... Thursday yung car namin and 2 motor

Same with changing Mags or adding body kits to an automobile. it projects disposable income.

This on the other hand is more beneficial since you can pick a car plate that is not similar to your other car for coding purposes.
Its also a double edge sword since it makes your car a lot more recallable to the ordinary folks even to those who no nothing about automobiles.

Meron naman three alpha+three numeric option.

you can pay 35K para 4 apha and 3 numeric... napili mo na coding mo, bago pa plate mo

Based sa resolution ng LTO, subject for approval yung special plate right? tapos, bayad muna before review.
Correct me if I am wrong though.

    hmmm... (my personal opinion)

body kits - as long as it came from the dealership, ok lang sa akin.
e.g. Modulo/RS ng Honda, GR ng Toyota etc

mags - depends on the use... if weekend off-roader ka, then I will understand the change of mags

pero for reasons na "maiba lang" or "para mas maganda" - I feel sorry for the owner kasi obviously, they want a better car... pero di kinaya ng budget.

Akala ko ba ang purpose ng coding is to reduce the cars plying on a street daily.
But the introduction of special plate will just negate the purpose of coding.
Lahat naman na may cars can afford to pay for special plate.

    seems to me,
government is still undecided as to its priority in governance.

    think about this...

car owner ka and you want to buy another vehicle for coding.

if you were the Gov't, do you prefer na the car buyer buys from the 2nd hand market?

o brand new? (where they can collect taxes and other fees)

IMO. LTO should charge 10K for last number request... ramdom pa din plate mo, last digit lang pwede mo piliin.

    like Spoon

    or Volk Rays TE37

coz they're after a certain look

not coz they can't afford an accord

personal opinion ko lang naman yun

and off-roader lang ginamit kong example (madali kasi) pero ako din naman noon. unang pinapalitan ko is mags, from 13-14 to 15-17 (2000s)

and yes, I agree na madaming nagpalit ng Spoon mags... madami din bumili ng 2nd hand and fake.

    ***
pero... whenever I see a Vios or Eon (from the Baduy thread), naiisip ko na Vios GR sana gusto nya or Jazz (for the Eon). kaso nabitin sa budget.

i see it as an anti-coding tool.

    Oo nga naman.

If the flooding & current were strong enough to rip a plate off a vehicle, losing the plate would be least of the driver's concerns at that moment. I've read an off road magazine article warning drivers about crossing water, as the deceptively placid current may actually be strong enough to wash away the whole vehicle.

Yung mga NCR floods we're used to here, usually stagnant water lang kasi.
