SLEX Speed limit

nagulat ako kaninang umaga na mayroong bagong traffic sign sa northbound lane ng SLEX about a kilometer before susana exit. Bilog na mayroong 80 sa nakasulat.

What! 80 lang ang speed limit! sana man lang ginawang 100.

Kung sa bagay, sa NLEX may mga portions na 80 lang din ang speed limit.

Now na hindi pa tapos ang construction ng SLEX. hindi nakakaantok kasi dapat aware ka, kung hindi, accidente ang resulta.

Nakakaantok mag drive kung solo mo ang daan, pero sa SLEX na medyo mataas ang volume ng mga sasakyan. hindi naman siguro. Pero, for me mabagal ang 80 kph.

At least, SLEX is not as long as NLEX nor SCTEx. but worried ako na baka mas mahal ang toll per km sa SLEX kaysa sa NLEX once na natapos.

yan ba yun part na wala pang linya yun kalsada? IMO napakahirap magdrive sa SLEX ngayon lalo na yun northbound. lalo na sa fast lane, masyadong nakakasilaw yun mga kasalubong lalo na kung ayaw pa magdim! hindi mo makita yun barriers. tapos may stretch pa na walang linya. hindi mo ma-identify kung mahahagip mo yun nasa unahan since walang point of reference sa kalsada

sa hindi matapos na construction sa slex, hirap ka nga makaabot ng 60kph.

I think kaya 80 baka dahil sa construction. Kasi malabo ka naman talagang magpatakbo ng mabilis sa dami ng ginagawa, unless madaling araw ka bumiyahe. Kung 80 ang talagang impose na speed limit, good luck na lang.

The speed limit is 60 in the areas where you have traffic contracting to a single lane between the barriers. But it should actually be lower.

mayroon ng line sa stretch na ito. 4 lanes Mula sa tulay before Caltex. SLEX northbound.

Typical ko dito ay 80 to 100 sometimes up to 120.

Unfortunately, hindi kasing kinis ang asphalt as NLEX or SCTEx. Pero much much better than Star toll way.

max - 100kph

penalties
slower than 60kph - P500
above 100kph - P1,500
