"intake port." upward slope entrance.
there is an upward sloping segment of roadway, at the right side of the surface-grade road, where one drove up, to gain access to the segment of skyway that had just been opened last week.
i missed it, partly because it was so un-obtrusive. i did not notice any before-entrance signage.
the only sign i saw, was a small sign (1 meter wide, in my estimate) just beside the entrance to the slope.
also, the construction works all around the vicinity, made it difficult to see things. hindi pa streamlined yung area. scaffoldings everywhere.

Doc, based don sa video, parang ang layo na nung entrance ramp south bound?? malapit na sa nagtahan??
wala sa video yung exit ramp from skyway going down to plaza dilao?
ah... eh...
ok lang.
whichever direction, traffic downstairs is bypassed.
but i noticed yesterday at 5 pm..
ang haba ng northbound skyway traffic sa buendia... may TE sa itaas, sa ulo ng pila.. para yatang ini-ipon ang traffic for a considerable amount of time.. yung ibang drayber kasi, nasa labas ng sasakyan at nag-e-exercise ng paa..
parang coastal road nung unang panahon..
Is it just me or is traffic getting even worse nowadays? Edsa and c5 are real slogs......
Really need Skyway Stage 3 operational asap.

When the new ramp from Merville opened, the northbound traffic of C5 from SLEX got worse. Right after exiting SLEX, it is bumper to bumper up to the new U-Turn slot in front of Heritage. Usually, traffic on that part is light. You can even do triple digit speeds from SLEX exit up to the ridge before the exit to Bayani road.
It is because the vehicles from Merville, Moonwalk, Bicutan, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Cavite do not get filtered passing through Sales or Bicutan to get to C5.... Plus of course those coming from SLEX south....
So, C5 is now the new bottleneck....
And Kaingin road is still a crater of an experience after C5 southlink.... from 4 lanes and together with counterflow of motorcyles and tricycles and what have you to just one lane in a bumpy and water-soaked soil road.... Up to the intersection with Multinational Village....
nalilito nga ako sa dalawa kasi most news use both Skyway Stage 3 and SLEX-NLEX Connector Road in the same articles. so since si Ramon Ang ang nagpromise na operational by March 2020, it pertains to Skyway Stage 3, right? hmm cautiously optimistic here kasi sa latest drone video update parang andami pang kulang. pero am very excited about this and sana nga mabawasan traffic sa edsa at C5.

here's a December 2019 DPWH update on the status of various sections of Skyway Stage 3:
