By the way, this is different from Metro Pacific's SLEX-NLEX connector road.
what can you say on this?
Skyway Stage 3 to cut Buendia-Balintawak travel to 15 minutes

Espana/Quezon Ave is one of my daily travel in the morning, I might have to avoid that place while this is development.
Hope BIR will provide tax refunds sa mga business na tatamaan at mag close shop during construction.

It will be traffic hell while this is being done. But it will be Skyway heaven crossing Metro Manila when finished. For a fee of course.
I'm from Laguna, so when I go to Manila I use the Skyway more often than not. The expense is way less than the time that would be spent if there was heavy traffic below.
Like they say, "you can't make an omelet without breaking any eggs"
The traffic will just be like the time they were building the MRT, the EDSA-Ayala underpass, the BGC-Buendia overpass and all the other works
Let's just hope that this new road will ease the MM traffic

^Not to mention, when the Skyway, SLEX and NLEX were built. We can only hope there's good traffic management and clear barriers/signages.
My main concern too is the design for the exit points. If it goes down to a bottleneck, traffic will back up ala Amorsolo exit.
So this project will be built along Araneta Avenue? Hopefully the traffic on Quezon Avenue during construction won't be bad since the underpass is there already...Would be interesting what will happen to the IS colonies when they expand the road for the project...

The Skyway will traversing along Paco-Sta Mesa road then connects to Old Sta Mesa- N. Domingo. Paano yung motels between those roads....?
Is it just me or is traffic getting even worse nowadays? Edsa and c5 are real slogs......
Really need Skyway Stage 3 operational asap.

When the new ramp from Merville opened, the northbound traffic of C5 from SLEX got worse. Right after exiting SLEX, it is bumper to bumper up to the new U-Turn slot in front of Heritage. Usually, traffic on that part is light. You can even do triple digit speeds from SLEX exit up to the ridge before the exit to Bayani road.
It is because the vehicles from Merville, Moonwalk, Bicutan, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Cavite do not get filtered passing through Sales or Bicutan to get to C5.... Plus of course those coming from SLEX south....
So, C5 is now the new bottleneck....
And Kaingin road is still a crater of an experience after C5 southlink.... from 4 lanes and together with counterflow of motorcyles and tricycles and what have you to just one lane in a bumpy and water-soaked soil road.... Up to the intersection with Multinational Village....
