By the way, this is different from Metro Pacific's SLEX-NLEX connector road.
what can you say on this?
Skyway Stage 3 to cut Buendia-Balintawak travel to 15 minutes

Espana/Quezon Ave is one of my daily travel in the morning, I might have to avoid that place while this is development.
Hope BIR will provide tax refunds sa mga business na tatamaan at mag close shop during construction.

It will be traffic hell while this is being done. But it will be Skyway heaven crossing Metro Manila when finished. For a fee of course.
I'm from Laguna, so when I go to Manila I use the Skyway more often than not. The expense is way less than the time that would be spent if there was heavy traffic below.
Like they say, "you can't make an omelet without breaking any eggs"
The traffic will just be like the time they were building the MRT, the EDSA-Ayala underpass, the BGC-Buendia overpass and all the other works
Let's just hope that this new road will ease the MM traffic

^Not to mention, when the Skyway, SLEX and NLEX were built. We can only hope there's good traffic management and clear barriers/signages.
My main concern too is the design for the exit points. If it goes down to a bottleneck, traffic will back up ala Amorsolo exit.
So this project will be built along Araneta Avenue? Hopefully the traffic on Quezon Avenue during construction won't be bad since the underpass is there already...Would be interesting what will happen to the IS colonies when they expand the road for the project...

The Skyway will traversing along Paco-Sta Mesa road then connects to Old Sta Mesa- N. Domingo. Paano yung motels between those roads....?
malapit na matapos to.. Bacood to Araneta na lang..
interesting yung sa Quirino part.. may double decker sila na nilagay..

i tried to try out the new ...to plaza dilao segment, coming from osmena pasay road..
i missed the intake port.
next time...
meron din nagsasabi na kaya plaza dilao (dilaw - yellow) kasi madami daw japanese dyan sa area na yan nung Spanish time.. kaya tinawag nang mga spanish na Plaza Dilaw (referring to the jap)
plaza dilao.
it memorializes the Dilao of old.
Dilao, because of the skin tone of the chinese and japanese people that it was intended to memorialize.
a group of japanese Christians, who chose to self-exile to the philippines, rather than give up their religion, among which was Takayama Ukon.
Blessed Justo Takayama Ukon's statue graces the rotonda of plaza dilao. before he self-exiled to the philippines, he was one of the more famous samurais in old feudal japan. google him, folks.
he was beatified just recently, in 2017.
the story was mentioned by kim atienza in his 10-11 am dzmm program.
