    ilang buwang free trial lang siguro ang nangyari sa SS3. Then TRB wants to close it now sa sobrang tagal ng "free trial".

    and then, SMC infra wants to continue the trials again

    I'm thinking how will this affect the "next businessman" who wants to build a new highway to help decongest EDSA...

    Reminds me of the old company I was working for (early 2000s). Office was in Manila and they proposed a satellite office sa Laguna... 15mins away lang daw...

    Creditors daw are calling na kaya ang sounded the alarm. Baka iyong ibang projects ng smc, pati iyong airport sa bulacan, kinakatakutan ma-apektuhan siguro kaya nag exert na ng pressure via the closure announcement kahapon.

    "He said the TRB insisted that 100 percent of Skyway 3’s ramps should be finished even if the SMC contract allowed it to collect toll only when 95 percent of the entire project has been finished.

    “The quickest way for our infrastructure unit to speed up 100 percent completion of the ramps would have been to close Skyway 3,” Ang said."


    "SMC said on Tuesday that 10 of the 26 ramps were open and these comprised a “small portion” of the project and did not affect the 97 percent completion rate."

    I agree with Shadow. Sirado na lang muna nila so they can finish all the works para 100% done na. Can't they legally just close it for the meantime since it's their project naman?

    Kung gusto free, dapat hindi tayo pumayag na PPP. Puro naman kasi bayad para makapunta sa sulok sulok ng Metro Manila. Ayan kasing binoto natin, ang lagay e... Puro lagay kung gov't project

    RSA supported Duterte, and that's his problem. Projects pa more? Airport? Roads? Puro abono yan. Hindi ba mauubos kayamanan ng SMC?

    Pag hindi PPP, hanggang drawing at feasibility study lang siya sa NEDA sigurado. Walang mangyayari kasi walang mga major milestone projects na makakausad in time before the end of term ng isang president.

    At least that's how I see. The bureaucratic red tape dito malupit adhesion, may mawawala talaga sa laman ng bulsa ng proponent sa pilit niyang umusad, wala pang garantiya na walang red tape sa next step ulit at kung uusad na talaga.

    Dito sa SS3, I think nag public statement naman si Mr Ang. Responsibility dapat ng DPWH to acquire yung RROW, kaso ang daming issues and delays, kaya sila na nagkusa naghanap pa ng alternative route and binili yung RROW right/lupa para lang makausad/matapos yung project. Dahil dun, nagballoon yung project cost ng SS3 kasi dapat excluded sa side nila yun. Yung pagbili pa ng diverted RROW, per my understanding market price, not zonal or assessed.
