From Skyway the nearest offramp exit iirc would be G.Araneta since sarado pa ang Plaza Dilao/Nagtahan. Kung mkalampas ka ng G,Araneta, doon ka na pupulutin sa NLEX u-turn maybe at Harbour link or Paso de Blas.

Matagal tagal na pong bukas ang A. Bonifacio northbound off-ramp, pero ang layo na rin nito.

A gantry and sign installed at the new entry of #skywayextension northbound and says "strictly for etc only" "class 1 only" with those cute vector image of a car and pickup truck included. The Skyway Extension will ease the choke points of Skyway At grade once it opens. Currently the northbound is opening soon while works on the southbound is still on going. The old skyway amkor on ramp at grade was removed to connect this new extension

Moving closer to toll fee collection

JUST IN: Binigyan na ng provisional approval ng Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) ang petisyon na toll rate ng San Miguel Corporation para sa Skyway Stage 3.

Narito ang aprubadong provisional rates:

• Buendia to Sta. Mesa- P105
• Ramon Magsaysay to Balintawak- P129
• Buendia to NLEX- P264

Ayon kay Julius Corpuz, tagapagsalita ng TRB, "Ang provisional rates po kasi, ang ibig sabihin niyan ay hindi pa final at pwede pa 'yang magbago. For the meantime ito muna yung rates na pwede nilang kolektahin sa panahong bibigyan na sila ng authority".

Pero hindi pa agarang makapapaningil ng toll fee ang SMC sa Skyway Stage 3 hangga't hindi pa nabibigyan ng authority to collect ng TRB.

but once on the skyway, however, ample signage calls that exit "quezon avenue exit".
so what's the proposed bayad for that exit? dun pa naman ako bumababa...
whoever wrote that piece of literature, obviously was not familiar with the project.

For SMC to be able to charge toll fees, they need to comply with the following requirements from the TRB's press statement:

1. The project must be “substantially completed”. The conditions for substantial completion are as follows:

A.) Project is at least 95% complete.

*An assessment was submitted by an independent consultant earlier this month stating that the facility is already 97%. This assessment is now subject to evaluation and validation by the Board.

B.) The project must conform to the approved final engineering design.

C.) The project is capable of being operated safely and commercially

D.) The toll road facilities thereon have been installed.

*The installation of Toll Collection Equipment and System, which are needed to collect tolls, by the CENTRAL Metro Manila Skyway Corporation, is ongoing. A joint testing amongst the TRB, the proponent and Independent Consultant will commence on Monday, 29 March 2021, in areas where installation was completed, to ensure that there are no system glitches or flaws to avoid a repeat of the RFID problems we had in the past.

TRB says they will publish the provisional toll fee matrix once a week for three consecutive weeks. Once they are satisfied that Skyway 3 meets all the above criteria and that the company has posted the required bond, the TRB will issue the authority to collect and a Notice to Start Collection.

"when do we start paying?"
