    1. express bus. walang tigil tigil maliban sa destination nya. halimbawa. from SM North to Makati lang. No stops in between.
    2. Double decker bus sa edsa.
    3. Dagdagan ang coaches ng trains. Iksian ang waiting time. Palakihin.

hulihin lahat ng mga jaywalkers... it makes vehicles slow down...

increase the speed limit on certain areas depending on the time... this is to speed up the flow of traffic....

be very strict on reckless driving especially motorcyles....

    1. no garage no car policy. ganyan talaga, you can't use the public road for your own good. nakakasikip lang talaga kesyo hindi pa main road iyan.

I myself would always commute nalang.

The number one aim should be to get people out of the city... period.

You want people to either live closer to work (build more condos) or work closer to home (move businesses out).

Whether the traffic is in the form of buses, jeeps, cars or scooters, it's undeniable that the Metro Manila area is incredibly crowded. With that many people, there should be more effort by the government to promote work-shifting or odd hours. Some businesses can start as early as seven and end at three. Others go eight to four and nine to five. Ten to six is good, but workers will not want to go out in the middle of traffic.

The limit on shifting is electricity. But then again... you already spend a crapload on air-con during the day... the bill for lighting at night would be tiny, in comparison.

    -

The MRT trains already skip some of the end stations during rush hours, to spread the load out. They could perhaps go further and number-code the trains (some odd, some even, some go everywhere), but that would require more trains.

I often wonder why they don't have more automatic card dispensers. It's a hassle to pay every time, and sometimes the tellers run out of pre-loaded cards. Be nice if you could go buy 50-100 peso pre-loaded cards at a machine.

    -

One of the best ways at curing congestion is to make the city pedestrian friendly. If you've ever walked in Manila, you know how hard this can be. Pedestrian overpasses... everywhere. Even on roads with lighter traffic, you're expected to walk up and down three stories just to cross the street. Makati is worse. The pedestrian underpasses are some four to five stories deep. Then you get to EDSA... where to cross, you need to walk up the equivalent of seven to ten floors to clear the MRT station.

Nobody wants to walk in Metro Manila because it's difficult for anyone who isn't as physically fit as pop3corn.

Then there's garbage, street vendors, Meralco poles sticking out of the middle of the sidewalk, and homicidal maniacs taking swipes at you as you cross the road.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    1. Remove all franchises ng Bus and Jeepney and re-evaluate all lines.

    2. For C roads (Circumferential roads) dapat LRT/MRT should be the only one plying this route.

    3. R roads (Radial roads crossing C roads) mga scheduled buses with specific stops only.

    4. Jeepney (better yet, smaller buses) would be assigned sa mga edges of the city na lang or smaller roads.

    5. LRT/MRT should reach Alabang/Santa Rosa /Calamba and Cavite / Kawit / Dasmarinas / Gen. Trias. / Cavite City / Tagaytay. Up north should be Mecauayan / San Jose / Baliwag and Caloocan / Novaliches / Fairview

    6. Provincial Buses would start at the Northern or Southern point of the LRT / MRT

    7. Build network of tunnels that act as drainage as well (similar to KL)
