yup legit po to.
i'm selling commemorative plates for the
upcoming 2005 Sea Games which will be held here in
the Philippines. These plates are real and are certified unlike the "TMG" commemorative plates.
there are 2 kinds..
~ 3500 php ~
Exemption from color coding scheme until August
2006 in the whole of Metro Manila..yes Makati
included...It's a white plate with 2006 Sea Games logo
and Olympic committee logo and says "SEA GAMES"
on the plate..(1pc. only for the front)
~ 5000 php ~
(Customized plate) Basically the same kind of plates
and the you will enjoy the same benefits..it's just that
you can put your own characters on it.
The Sea Games Committee is now talking with Binay
and Bayani about a possible extention of the validity
of these plates until 2007 for just a minimal additional
amount...Thanks! IM me or just text me if you're
interested.. - jb (09174470154)
Oh yeah..the money will be used for the building of
the facilities which will be used for the Sea
Games..hehe This also means that this will only be available until November 2005..
Can anyone confirm this through the DOTC and LTO? IF its true I'll be getting one. Who made those plates anyway? I hope its GJB.
i think its not GJB, i have been calling them and asking for new comm plates, pero wala pa daw.Originally Posted by kotiko

Well it is really expensive. Worth it naman though (in my opinion) if exempted talaga sa coding and legal. Bawas sa hassle.
sana nga legal talaga & exempted sa coding. kung valid until 2007 eh di ayos! :D
I went to the PhilSOC office this morning. I was able to get some sets of the "forms" for the SEAG commemorative plates. As of this morning, they were still waiting for the memo from the DOTC regarding the frequently asked questions regarding the SEAG plates.
As of this minute, the DOTC has not yet forwarded any memos.
You can call their office through the following number: 551-7920 loc 7169 and look for Ms. Bihasa
Another listed number is 426-7768 which is supposed to be a QC office for those in the QC area. So I called this number. The lady who answered mentioned that the SEAG plates are EXEMPTED from coding but the memo from the DOTC will be released next week.

thanks sir for the input...
DOTC?
FYI - the MMDA & LGUs are the ones implementing the UVVRP. So you'll still be flagged down.
bibigay din ng permit iyan sir... wait lang tayo...Originally Posted by boybi
