There is no topic that calls the tsikoteers attention to good or bad roads, roads with hazards, dangerous roads to pass, nice new roads. Anything pertaining to roads. I hope we can use this topic for our benefit.

I was trying to find an appropriate thread for this, but couldn’t find one. I wanted to warn you guys about this filinvest off ramp. Southbound, if you are taking the offramp to Filinvest, better slow down because at the top of that ramp, the road suddenly dips & if you are going fast, you will find your car lifting off then slamming back down hard. It happened to me twice this month.

I live around the area but I usually take the West Service road to Filinvest. I din’t know about it.

I remember that part, mga 2 or 3 times ata ako nalubak, after that I make it a point to slowdown,
and if there's a heavy down pour a few meters before the toll gate medyo malalim yun baha,
it was deep enough to displace my splash guard

Haha medyo mabilis ata talaga takbo nyo sir kung lumilipad na yung kotse!

On principle I slow down kasi medyo blind curve + crest dun. Hindi mo malaman if may pila na ng kotse on the other side until you go past the crest.

Corrections. I did a driveby on my way south this morning. The area I am referring to is the portion at the beginning of the off ramp where the road meets the ramp. Parang the road is a bit higher than the ramp & they are just smoothened out by some asphalt. What happens is, as you exit the tollway & turn into the ramp, you will not notice that portion is low, so unless you really slow down, the front end will lift up a bit then slam back down.

One of the newest and most beautiful driving roads in Northern Luzon is Daang Kalikasan (translated to Nature’s Road) in Pangasinan. Daang Kalikasan became very popular with motorists in early 2020 and was flocked by tourists even before construction was officially complete. It was so popular that the local government even had to temporarily shut down the road due to a series of tragic accidents.

Two years have passed since then, and it looks like we'll be seeing the road again. But it won't exactly be in the way we were expecting. A few weeks from now, an official hill climb automobile time attack will be held along Daang Kalikasan next month.

Hindi ha. I use the SLEX on a daily basis & use so many different off ramps. Ito lang ganun. You should try it sometime.

Ito, I just found this. Sana ayusin nila

I'll take your word for it. Las P, Parañaque, Alabang, Manila, Macapagal, Makati lang ang usual routes ko and so far that's been my general experience.

Probably because heavy vehicles frequent these areas.
