Renewal of drivers license - lost receipt

I lost the receipt of my drivers license.

How will the renewal process going to be?

PS. By the way, does anyone know why the receipt is still needed, and why is the drivers license alone not sufficient for the renewal? Kinda annoying to keep that small piece of paper for 3 years.

One of the illogical rules our outdated thinkers in LTO didn’t thought of removing, lumang useless policy since may computer na to verify license authenticity.

Mayroon kasing mga enforcers na sinusulat ang violation dun sa receipt. Kapag nawala receipt mo, pupunta ka sa nearest regional office para kumuha clearance.

nagpa renew ako recently. i don't remember gving my old receipt just my old license.

Ok I will try that, but I remember the last time I renewed (3 years ago) that they specifically asked for the receipt. Stupid really.

Nagpa renew ako last week, hindi kinuha resibo, card lang...

tapos naubusan din sila ng card, so resibo na bago lang binigay sakin, just in case mahuli, pwede daw yun since may license# naman.

Pati pala license card wala din? Panu yan, wala pako sticker ng registration tapos for renewal pako ng license, tapos wala pang card?

ung dati sa akin nag advance renewal ako 3 months before. akala nila birthday ko. pwede rin naman i-change address nila.

totoo yan.. sa Ace hardware ganyan.. ni hindi man lang magsabi na.. "sir wala po akong 25cents or 50 cents.. ok lang po ba??" ginagawa susuklian ka nang kulang. ni wala man lang sinasabi.. tapos nung ni question ko bakit kulang nang 25 cents ang sukli.. binuksan yung kaha tapos ang dami naman palang 25 cents.. ano yun sinasadya nila na wag mag sukli nang tama??
