Yes, reckless driving for MMDA is 500 php only, while in LTO its 1000php. I don't get it when they say that the fine varies from locality to locality, is it true?
I went to TPMO office near Casimiro in Las Piņas, they were asking for 2,000 pesos, and showed me their lists of traffic fines.
After a few minutes while outside the office, the guy from inside approached me and said, "Halika, tulungan na kita. Kaya mo ba ng kalahati?"
Then, I said yes and we went inside the office. I was hesitant at first but I asked the guy if it will appear as an unsettled violation when I renew my licence.
He said no, they will just change the violation code, something like that.
So, I ended up paying 1,000 pesos instead. They gave me a receipt though.
I don't know if it helped or I will just wait in 2013 and see what will happen.
It was my very first violation since I got my licence in 2004.
There was no basis, whatsoever of the violation.
Pumalag ako sinabi ko kasalanan naman nyang tao mo nag over take at nag cut tapos wala pang helmet.
Wag na daw ako mangatwiran. Kung hindi i wrewrecker daw nya yung kotse.
