    I have a question.

Is there a law saying anything about confusing/vague traffic signs?

Here's what happened to me long ago (6 to 7 years ago but it is still clear in my mind because that was the only time I was ever apprehended - few months after that I went abroad ).

I was on Jupiter St in Makati and I turned left to Makati Avenue. There was a clear white paint on the lane that shows that I can take a left turn. I was stopped by a traffic enforcer saying my offense was illegal turn + wreckless driving.

He pointed to me a sign that says no left turn (about 10 to 20 meters from the intersection.

While he was right that there is a sign that says NO LEFT TURN, what about the paint on the lane that says I can turn left?

What I am interested to hear is if there is a law that favors me in this instance.

It is kinda like there is a law regarding taxation that if a tax law is vague, it should be interpreted to the benefit of the taxpayer. Something like that.

That, I believe , could be protested.. All you have to do is to either get a traffic lawyer to defend you or contact the Fiscal / chief in charge..

Easier said than done, I know

    very informative, tnx.

once apprehended by the MMDA or any city traffic enforcers, is it ok not to give your driver's license to them and instead just show it where they can read it? coz once you handed your license to them they will immediately write your violation in their tickets even if you are still contesting it. worst is if you do complain to them they will surely add more violations and threaten you for bigger fines plus they will not give you back your license!

I don't know if this has been posted but how about those local traffic enforcers like the green boys ng pasay... lately eto ang mga pasaway more than mmda. do these guys have the same authority as an mmda enforcer? Can these guys confiscate drivers license? Thanks in advance for the replies

If you ask me, the only authority they should get is to hold a dustpan and broom and clean the streets.

If you're driving properly, keeping to your lane, no swerving, turn on the correct lanes, there is no reason for these fcuktards to flag you down.

This is also my question, "Can these guys confiscate drivers license?"

Meron din akong nakita na naka black naman sa Pasay. Nanghuhuli ng mga liliko ng Tramo galing Andrews Ave. Bawal daw lumiko galing middle lane kahit may arrow na right. Legit ba to?

marami kasing dayo sa airport.. mga taga-probinsya.. baka may kumagat...
show them that you know the rules, and they'll struggle to say some excuse.., then they'll let you off "with a warning"..

Are the traffic enforcers for every city in Metro Manila should have "Mission Order" too?

Thanks. Akala ko kasi MMDA lang. Yun pala lahat ng TE dapat may mission order.

Question: Sa mission order ba nakalagay kung san designated location nila? Thanks.
