Is my understanding correct on number 3, that of u have 2 or more passengers you will be exempted to number coding? Pano pag exit mo na sa edsa? Huhulihin kna?

I think ang ibig sabihin is kahit 2 or more passengers, applicable pa rin sa iyo yung Number Coding. Meaning pwede ka pa rin mahuli.

Ang concern ko dito is pano kung may susunduin ka along edsa like asawa o anak, edi kailangan mo pang mag-ankas or bumili ng mannequin na mukhang tao para di ka mahuli. Pinoy pa... galing dumiskarte.

But it's not all bad news. Public and private vehicles with only one passenger and one driver on-board will still be allowed on EDSA, but will be subject to the provisions of the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP). Meanwhile, cars with a driver and more than one passenger on board will be exempted from the UVVRP on EDSA. So at least there's that.

I think this will complicate the existing regulations. Mas okay na siguro na they retain thr number coding and just add theyre new proposal.

Sobrang dami ng laws hindi lang nila mapatupad ng ayos.

Enterprising people might wait along edsa & charge a fee to ride para hindi mahuli yung driver only cars hehe.

Yes, I've noticed that. When petrols are up, like gas and diesel. Not even a single motorcycle is roaming the road, aside from EDSA.

I remember nga around 2008 yun I would even go for small players like City Oil instead of the Big 3 just to save on gas... Napilitan kami mag carpool nun. Baka we need something like that again. Tapos dapat diesel mas mahal pa sa gas. Also happened in 2008...
