plate number question...

are we allowed to paint our plate numbers? i mean, i've seen quite a few plate numbers na color white tas black yung mga letters and numbers. others naman, i've seen, binakbak nila yung pinaka-reflector so makikita mo nalang is all aluminum. is this allowed? kse i'm thinking of doing the same thing...ang pangit kse ng plate number natin ngayon...

-besides its illegal
-you can focus on other detailing stuffs and mods to make your ride look good , just dont tamper with the plate number it is there to serve its purpose and not an adornment for your car

Add ko na rin. pwede ba pa palitan ang plate number.. medyo luma na kasi yung sakin at sira na.. may parts na burado na rin yung paint..Pwede ba pa palitan sa LTO yon kahit na same number din??? Ano procedures

pwede rin pa paint mo na lang ng white then go to art sign shops and have reflectorized stickers to highlite the letters and digits
cheaper option but as good basta magaling yung gumagawa

Iba-iba kasi ang mga fonts na nakikita ko. Dapat, kung marami man silang gumagawa, iisa lang ang mold.

GJB lang ang gumagawa ng plates dapat. I don't know if they subcontract, though.

Yung mga gas gas ng plate ko pinagawa ko lang kay felix kalbo sa Banawe. Reflectorized tape lang ang ginamit. Ganun din ginawa sa 300SD ng father ko. Hehehe. Nakita nga ng TMG minsan, eh. Sabi bakit daw pinatungan ng ref tape. Sabi ng father ko: "Para malayo pa lang kita mo na." hehehe. Umalis na yung TMG.

Any modification of the license plates are outright illegal. pag malabo or burado na plates, you should run to your suking LTO branch and ask for replacements.

Of course i forgot that we live in the philippines and that anything goes here.

Yung 93 na toyota ng kuya ko pininturahan ko yung plate no. way back in 1998 at up to now ni hindi pa man din nasisita ng pulis or TMG. Ang plate nun ay yung white background with green numbers sa harap at green background with white numbers sa likod. Pinapinturahan ko ng white yung background at ako na lang nag paint nung green numbers/letters. Sobrang gasgas/labo na kasi nung plate kaya't pininturahan, mas malinis na tingnan since then.
