MANILA, Philippines—For these “Reds,” Metro Manila hardly looks pretty in pink.
A group of left-leaning lawmakers wants the House of Representatives to investigate—in aid of legislation—the use by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) of bright pink as standard color for road signs and structures.
The group says the pink signs and structures not only mar the urban landscape but also violate local and international safety regulations.
i don't have issues with what bayani has implemented. it's just that... really? pink???

di ko alam kung bakit biglang humirit itong mga lawmakers natin. whereas, ang tagal na nilang nakikita yung mga pink items na ito sa kalsada. if they would have been issues, they should have moved before pa.

pero di ko rin alam kung bakit pink. siguro bayani is ticked pink with that color... hehehehe.

and siguro, gumagawa sya ng branding in preparation for next year's elections. (parang marketing yan eh, there should be something identified with you...hehehehe).

Whatever the political reasons... at least somebody is finally voicing what we've been talking about for years...

baka nga politically motivated, nonetheless, pangit pa rin pink talaga, hehe.

pintura lang naman yan so there's no burden on cost. so why not think about aesthetics din naman? tamo tuloy, mukhang jologs ang metro.

i think dark yellow + gray is a good combo.
