sa pagkakaalam ko, the LTO is planning on selling vanity plates. i don't know if these will still be the regular 3-letter, 3-digit plate. but what i know is that you can retain the plate when you sell the car.

Possible, with all the political aspirants lurking around. Btw, if I remember it right, Alay Lakad plates during the Ramos administration were exempted from other traffic schemes. Or was it Piso para sa Pasig plates?

ang dami ko nakikita dito nakakatakot pang officers lang ata sa harap ng hi ace, cruiser owner type jeep tapos wala yung orig plate...

Alay Lakad plates can be bought directly at the Alay Lakad Office. Got mine from a friend from the Rotary Club Makati dahil parang partner yata sila nun. It costs P 1,700.00 (this is the amount I've paid), and valid up to November 2004.

1500 lang ang donation sa A.L. but I paid 1700 kasi di ako direct... OK sya so far, i tried it sa Pasig, San Juan, Ortigas, QC di sinisita kahit i stop in front of the officers.

UST High School plates can be ordered at the UST Pay High. The one near Dapitan.

There is also another UST license plate celebrating the university as a whole. I think its available at the OSACS office, ground floor main building.

I don't know about the expiry and price, though.
