Ordinance banning aftermarket/modified exhausts passed in Manila

I can’t figure out why they have to confiscate it. Why not just give them a hefty fine? If you remove them, nothing will “muffle” the explosive engine noise.

I was told prior to covid, ginagawa na yan sa calamba sa mga maiingay na motorsiklo, pero impound nila ang sasakyan, matutubos mo lang if you will install the original muffler onsite. Not sure if the story is true tho.

that would be nice.
i also heard of this 'program' years ago.
the car owner could only make tubos his 'erroneous' car, if he were to make the necessary fixins in the impound lot.

wala ba mga staff yan na gumagawa ng Complete Staff Work? parang tatanga eh..

kung race car yan bawal sa streets yan at dapat naka sakay sa trailer.. pero pwede naman gawing legal yung mods ng race car as long as pasok ka dun sa set standards.. otherwise dapat naka trailer kasi hindi street legal..

yung sa 400cc motorcycle, tama yun kasi ang laki ng engine tapos maiksi lang talaga yung exhaust.. pero ganda naman tunog.. hehe

kesa naman sa naka 110cc na parang binibiyak na yero

Kaya nga eh they does not mentioned exempted vehicles that are NOT street legal. Merong race or show car that can be legally driven on public roads.

400cc and up motorcycles it is a music to my ears. Lalo na yung mga Harleys, Ducatis and any other sport bikes out there.

100cc to 200cc single engines sakit sa tenga lalo na when they rev it up to the redline lalo na yung may modified exhaust. Tapos meron pa yung stand up scooters na may makina ng pocket mini bike with tiny wheels from a go kart. Naiinis ako sa tunog niyan. They are all tunog lata like you said. hehe.

Pay the fine, retrieve your license & never use that car in Manila again.
