so they are now punishing the innocent car buyer, and not the two confessed, really guilty parties, the car dealer and the lto!

This has just gone from bad to worse. It absolves the DEALERS of all responsibility, whereas before they were liable for 100,000 in penalty, they now get away scot free, leaving the customer holding the bag.

If anything, this new memo only encourages business as usual with the DEALERS. With no pressure or threat of punishment on them, what would compel them to hurry up with the OR CR registration? A sale is a sale, no matter if the customer is unable to legally use the vehicle. Screw the customers, says the DEALERS.

As for me, I will still use my vehicle as it is my right to do so, as provided simply by the natural laws of God-given logic. If I encounter an enforcer who says otherwise, well... suntukan na lang kami.

Dealers did request for a 90-day suspension of the requirement to produce uniform license plates. A verbal agreement has been reached with the LTO for this, but the guidelines have yet to be drafted.

Best way to protect yourself na lang is to ask the bank na lagyan ng clause

"No release of proceeds unless the dealership has provided the plate"

Ganyan ginawa ko dati and it took the dealership less than 3 weeks nabigyan agad ako ng plaka.

Sa case namin, sabi ng SA kelangan nilang ma expedite ang release ng orcr kasi hindi sila makakasingil ng payment hanggat hindi tapos ang mga documents.

Pano yun sir? Meron kana PO sa bank? Or waiting pa maapprove? Ako din this march kukuha din ng sasakyan, hinihintay ko nlng tuwag yung bank. Anong bank kayo sir? Pa OT lang po. Ako pala RCBC with 25.5% interest rate for 60months. Not free insurance and Chattel.

Sa Roxas Boulevard earlier may mga enforcer na naka-blue with orange stripes yung uniform. I guess na LTO sila. They apprehended all motorcycles na no plate and pinatigil sila sa tapat ng fountain between Max's and Aristocrat

BTT: Released the car last Feb 11. 2 weeks after, no OR/CR yet. 1 month daw processing. Sobrang hassle kasi walang magamit sa coding. Dapat pala hindi nalang muna binenta yung luma. Tsk

I forgot where I posted it pero I did posted this story last october 2016 somewhere here. Basically, No OR/CR no travel policy is a very old LAW. Baby pa ata lolo ko batas na yun? LOL. Medyo mainit lang talaga ngaun since di na i honor ung "temporary" na sales invoice na good for 1-2weeks...

Anyway, to repeat the story, nahuli friend ko sa NLEX that time tubos nya sa lto east ave.

Just yesterday, may nadaanan ako LTO checkpoint pero mga trucks ang target nila. Im actually waiting na parahin ako since CS plate pa lang ung akin pero di naman ako pinansin...
