No Registration , No New Vehicle Release from Dealer starting 2/16/2017

Di na pala uubra nyan ang pinapalitan na date sa invoice. Magiging purchased after Feb 16 nyan ang mga unregistered cars. Di na talaga pwede gamitin.

Purchased my Toyota Innova last Jan 24, 2017, almost a month now tumawag ako sa dealer wala pa daw OR CR

Kaya with this "not so new" policy ng LTO na medyo maghihigpit sa mga unregistered vehicles, pang display muna
si innova sa bahay, buti na lang I still have my old but trusty and reliable crosswind, dahil di ko pa nabenta, hehe.

Yung SA ko nag advice pagawa ng vanity plate sa National bookstore.

Sabi ng SA we need to write a letter na willing kame mag antay ma release ang orcr....Grabe pahirap naman eto, samantalang sa ibang SA na kakilala din namin 10 days kaya daw nila lakarin ang orcr. Pwede pa kaya kame lumipat ng dealership? Wala pa naman kame pinipirmahan na na release na yung unit sa amin, nasa casa pa.

May nakapagsabi na sa kin dati na by batch nga daw mag submit ang dealers sa LTO... nasan naman ang hustisya? Tayong buyers ang dehado, paano naman yung walang assurance kung kelan lalabas ang sinasabing orcr? Nagbabayad ka na hindi pa napapakinabangan yung biniling sasakyan.

Well, ayaw ko na mag rant at sayang ang anti aging hehehe

hindi lang daw basta by batch. kapag daw merong multiple dealerships under one owner, minsan lahat yon sabay sabay sa isang batch. which means hindi yung mismong dealer na binilhan mo ang nagaasikaso ng orcr. Kaya minsan, kahit naregister na, sasabihin sayo ng agent na di pa tapos kasi di naman talaga niya alam status. Kagaya nung sakin, ang huling update ko sa agent was last wednesday, sabi niya di pa daw tapos iregister. pero kahapon sabi niya pwede niya na ako bigyan ng scanned copy. feb 6 registered na pero feb 17 ko nakuha ang scanned copy. yung original copy, wala pa daw sakanya.

I assumed this is true, na iniipon muna ng mga dealer yung batches of orders para maka volume discount sila sa lagay sa LTO, so I told my SA yesterday, huwag mo na hintayin yung mga batch yung para sa registration ng kotse ko. Bayaran na lang kita ng "service fee" na 10,000. Tutal yun rin naman multa sa akin ng LTO kapag nadali ako ng mga buwaya nila e. At least this way, hindi kayo mamumulta ng 100,000.

You cannot remove the need for lagay at the LTO, it is as unavoidable as death and taxes. The dealer naman, as a business, they have to cut cost where they can. And if makaka tipid sila sa lagay for the LTO by "batching" together our registrations, then that is the way it will be, maski anong follow up at pakiusap pa natin.

Sya nga pala, tanong lang po mga kapatid. If the LTO cannot execute any of the functions by which this government agency was originally tasked with, then why is it still around? If it cannot deliver on its mandate to provide driver's licenses, stickers, license plates, and now even OR and CR, then what the hell is the LTO for?

Hindi ba dapat i-abolish na tong agency na to?

Sabi ng dealer hindi nila kayang mag commit ng 15 days lalabas ang orcr, kaya take it or leave it.

Got mine last Jan. 11 pa up to now wala pa rin daw sabi ng SA. any other way para malaman kung on process na sa LTO?

Diamond motors yung dealer ko... walang assurance silang binigay kung hanggang kelan kame mag aantay sa orcr bago ma release ung sasakyan.

How the heck does the LTO hope to implement this **** anyway?

Look around you in traffic, sometimes the cars without plates outnumber those with plates. So are the HPG, MMDA, MAPSA, BGC Sekyu and all the other clowns going to pull over EVERY car that has no plate, assuming that some of them have no OR CR? Imagine if they did that in EDSA? E di mas lalo nagkagulo, nagka buhol buhol ang traffic sa dami na pinatigil na sasakyan?

LTO is dreaming. These policies are unimplementable.

My experience last year, the car was released January and the first amortization was April pa. I don't know why. Auto debit sya sa account ko, BPI.

Hahaha. LTo is really a mess. Yung ngang registration sticker ko 1 month na since pinarenew ko last month, ala pa rin daw. Asa pa na OR/CR ng bagong sasakyan 1 week lang? Bawahahahahaha. Buang nila. Puro sila pang-ga-ga-go.
