Regarding mga temporary plates...

All dealers are required to provide conduction plates that are reflectorized and follow the standard design for cars registered starting Feb 15, 2017.

So if your car OR and CR shows that it was bought before Feb 15, 2017, you are not required to follow this memo.

Yun nga rin ang problema sa mga dealer kaya dapat maghigpit ang LTO and ibigay na yung mga plate number natin. Yung sa akin 1.5 months na wala pang magandang balita ng SA sa akin kung kailan maibibigay yung CR ng sasakyan..

As far as I know sa Feb 20 monday pa mag start ang apprehension ng LTO. May nabasa rin ako na warning lang muna kapag nahuli ka. Ingat na lang muna tayo

Many owners already did this even before this feb15 memo. 100k was indeed the fine.

Sir any branch ng LTO office magcomplain ok lang po ba? Pag wala pa this month OR/CR ng car namin icomplain ko na rin yung dealer ko kc biruin mo nasa yo nga yung sasakyan di mo naman magagamit. Kaya nagfollow din ako yesterday sabi ng SA ko inaayos na nila and naghahanap na sila gagawa ng temporary plate. Hopefully maayos nila this month. I got my unit last January 6, ginamit pa ng father ko kahapon buti na lang di natsambahan ng traffic enforcer. Pero as of now sa garage muna yung car sayang din yung fine. Sa malapitan lang muna gagamitin kung kinakailangan.

May nakapagsabi na sa kin dati na by batch nga daw mag submit ang dealers sa LTO... nasan naman ang hustisya? Tayong buyers ang dehado, paano naman yung walang assurance kung kelan lalabas ang sinasabing orcr? Nagbabayad ka na hindi pa napapakinabangan yung biniling sasakyan.

Well, ayaw ko na mag rant at sayang ang anti aging hehehe

hindi lang daw basta by batch. kapag daw merong multiple dealerships under one owner, minsan lahat yon sabay sabay sa isang batch. which means hindi yung mismong dealer na binilhan mo ang nagaasikaso ng orcr. Kaya minsan, kahit naregister na, sasabihin sayo ng agent na di pa tapos kasi di naman talaga niya alam status. Kagaya nung sakin, ang huling update ko sa agent was last wednesday, sabi niya di pa daw tapos iregister. pero kahapon sabi niya pwede niya na ako bigyan ng scanned copy. feb 6 registered na pero feb 17 ko nakuha ang scanned copy. yung original copy, wala pa daw sakanya.

I assumed this is true, na iniipon muna ng mga dealer yung batches of orders para maka volume discount sila sa lagay sa LTO, so I told my SA yesterday, huwag mo na hintayin yung mga batch yung para sa registration ng kotse ko. Bayaran na lang kita ng "service fee" na 10,000. Tutal yun rin naman multa sa akin ng LTO kapag nadali ako ng mga buwaya nila e. At least this way, hindi kayo mamumulta ng 100,000.

You cannot remove the need for lagay at the LTO, it is as unavoidable as death and taxes. The dealer naman, as a business, they have to cut cost where they can. And if makaka tipid sila sa lagay for the LTO by "batching" together our registrations, then that is the way it will be, maski anong follow up at pakiusap pa natin.

Thanks for the Info Sir, malamang babaha ang reklamo sa LTO nito. Baka masaklap pa baka di natin matawagan yung hotline nila. Dapat ayusin na nila yan between LTO and the Dealer itself huwag na isama ang Masa.

That's the thing.. daming buyers naghihintay sa mga dealers para gumalaw. Futile wait..

Now the new memo exposes these dealers lack of action.

A dealer even paid a website to discredit the memo by an article but its been retracted recently.
