^lucky you, most underwriters have exclusion clause. So better check your insurance contract
Not all insurers are as kind as yours

sa totoo lang, yan ang una pumasok sa isip ko. kaya nung una, i was pushing the truck owner to pay for the expense (wala naman pala plano talaga magbayad maski participation). nung nadala ko na sa adjuster, and na approve na tinigilan ko na truck owner, until bayaran na ng participation (na di nga binayaran).
in truth naman.
the insured is the car, not the OR CR.
as long as the inclusion date is satisfied, there should be no problem.
when i drive the brand new car out of the showroom, i ask "is the car insured right now? because a calesa might just be outside, waiting for me."
I believe the same. It also helps if you've maintained a good relationship with an insurance agent.
I've had the same insurance, same agent for 10 years at least. Not the lowest rate (not the highest either) but filing claims are super easy, isang tawag lang. 6 months to pay pa.
I think sa insurance kung may mangyari baka maging basis pa nila yan para i deny yung claim, kasi isa yatang nakalagay sa policy eh dapat ang operation ng insured vehicle eh walang legal impediment to travel. So pag walang OR CR ibig sabihin di cya legal i-operate.

Thanks,
Nope, documents required to register your car are stored in LTO

Ok lang ba yung temporary plate na pinagawa ko ay sticker lang sya with mv file no.? Wala bang violation?

I drove my unit for 2-3 weeks while waiting for the OR-CR. Wala naman nanghuhuli talaga, even if wala pang MV File No. Malaking problem lang pag mabangga ka without OR-CR. Ikaw agad ang at fault since you are driving an un-registered vehicle and depending on your insurance company, they may or may not shoulder the cost of repair.

You can get comprehensive insurance even with our OR/CR right?
Just in case something happens, insured ka pa rin and 3rd party.
Kalunos-lunos sitwasyon natin. You pay for your car and then you can't use it for a few months because of the incompetencies of our government agencies.
As per experience, wala naman na nanghuhuli kung wala ka pa OR/CR. Just show your delivery receipt/invoice. But again, technically, bawal. You can always take the risk.
