yes, they'll assign a license plate to your or/cr. it takes just 30mins. people are very kind and accomodating. just bring your or/cr, govt issued id, photocopied, if you're not the named person in the or, get authorization and id photocopy of that person. no need for authorization from your dealer. my dealer was clueless i've got my plates already. lol.
ps. check the screws.

January 28th, 2015 05:23 PM #783LTO NCR is releasing plates, I initially go to G. Araneta and inquire (sasabihin sa inyo dealer dapat magprocess)... Follow-up the dealer and told them they are releasing as you already been in LTO to countercheck (give them 2 days at least to follow-up again... Got mine today...
In case na gusto ninyo kayo na kumuha sa LTO, hingi na kayo ng authorization letter (just in case na hingan kayo) sa dealer para di na kayo babalik then go to LTO NCR...
Car released 1st week of October 2014 then 2nd/3rd week registered per OR\CR then released 1st week of December...

Finally got an sms from my SA that my plates are ready for pickup at the casa. Kelangan pa sindakin ang dealer para lang aksyunan nila ang pagkuha ng plates haiz.
Good to see other people are getting their plates too at LTO G. Araneta.

January 28th, 2015 06:49 PM #787Kulang pa rin sa consistency LTO. When I got a Montero last April 2014 (1st week registered), 1st week of October ko nakuha ang plate. Nung kumuha ako ng Rio on October 21, naregister on November 7, got my plates on the 21st.

I finally got my plate this week. Yung OR/CR ko was released second week of December. What I did nalang was get the contact details of the liaison officer and ako na nangulit sa kanya. Hehe. Sabi ko I can pick it up myself nalang, kaso lang I couldn't find time to go to LTO so buti naunahan nya ako. Pero yun, yung mga iba na nauna pa yata sa akin makakuha ng car sa dealer ko di pa din nila nakukuha plates nila.
Ngayon daw yata, kelangan na ng authorization letter from the dealer kase ayaw ng LTO na magdoble yung release ng plate (if that's even possible).
Choice I would have made as well.
