No PLATE No TRAVEL Policy?

Update: Got my lost plate back! A tricycle driver found and returned it after word through common friends and acquaintances reached him. Although it did cost me P200 ransom hehe, would have paid bigger had i got it sooner before the affidavit and police report and bank request for certified or cr but i have not went to lto. But the thing is the screw holes have been torned although not completely so i may need to use another set of screws with bigger washers and maybe some strong super glue to have these reinstalled. Which would make me a violator of the ruling on that screw thing. Should i just go through with the hassle of transacting with lto and wait for my new plates in about 45days + 1 year?

got our OR/CR last week after 14 working days.
any idea ilang days/months waiting for the release of the new plate?

GOOD NEWS : Recently received replacement plate for our old car.
BAD NEWS : Plate number is Z** **1 (Registered on-time last January 2015)

Magkaiba na coding day ko depending on which end of the car you are looking at. Kaya lang paparahin malamang na ko ng TE whenever thay see me to ask for or cr. Can i transact this lost plate at any lto branch or dapat dyan sa araneta branch?

Oo nga bad trip talaga, after 4 months waiting for the plates, eto nawala na agad isa in just less 3 months. Even if i file immediately will probably takes a long time to get the replacement. San ba nakakabili ng temp plates? Or do i have to make it myself.

Madami naman plate makers bro. Usual range is 350-500 for plastic (front and back na ito), and 1k - 2k for tin/aluminium plate. Pwede mo rin naman siguro magamit ito pag nawalan ka ulit ng plate. Btw when i installed my plate sa front, i added a rubber mat at the back and user contact cement to bond them. Baka makasugat kasi, and added sturdiness narin sa plate.

Finally got my ORCR after 3 weeks.

Sakin naman may plate na. Pero iba nakalagay sa or cr. 6 digits na number. Ang sabi sakin ay dahil di pa daw ma-input ng lto ang 3 letters, 4 numbers sa or cr. Ganun ba talaga?

Hindi na ba magbibigay ang dealer ng bagong or/cr with plate number issue indicated on it. Or retain na yung copy na initial or/cr without plate details, after na ma issue han na ng plate ang auto.
