Kung e-base natin sa sinabi ni LTO. you should get it WITHIN 7 days. kung e-base natin sa sinabi ni dealer, like in my case. September palang yung mga nakakarating sa kanilang may OR/CR na.. parang half palang ata ng September yung na process.. so kung baga parang 2 months delayed din sila?

November 7th, 2014 10:05 AM #172Yup, 2 weeks is enough already.
Share ko lang experience ko with my dealer. I got the unit Sept 18, then gave them 1 month before I follow-up yung registration. I thought more than enough na yun. Ayan, waiting pa din ako 'til now.

November 7th, 2014 12:24 PM #175I just got home from a 2-day trip to our province in La Union the other day and it really makes me paranoid that I don't have plates yet, though I have my OR/CR already, whenever I pass through a checkpoint.
I could see those cops looking at my dealer plate and checking the conduction sticker. There was an instance na akala ko pinara ako, un pala they were assisting a pedestrian.
Pero mukhang deadma naman sila sa dealer plate coz I was never pulled over. I don't know what will happen when they start to implement the No Plate No Travel policy again lalo sa province.
But it gives more relief that you have the OR/CR already than just those numerous invoices lalo pag andaming police sa checkpoint.
Nung huling bili 1 month ata. Then ngayon almost 3 months na wala pa.

Some replies posted on this already bro just want to add some suggestion. If you plan to delay your payment best to talk to your bank about it first. the bank however will not be sympathetic to you if you say you're trying to pressure your casa in doing so. However if you say like you're having a hard time meeting your obligation due to financial constraint, they might lend you an ear, however this is no assurance that they will grant your request.
Further each bank has their own policy regarding late payments. Some might be lenient (2 to 3 late payments before they take legal action) some would be strict. At any rate, late payment would always reflect in a bad credit history for your regardless if bank allowed it or not. Meaning in the end ikaw lang ang talo.
finally... my suggestion... dont default on your payment ... you will save yourself from a world of hurt

A friend is suggesting to go the DTI route. Have DTI mediate between me, the dealer and LTO. He actually just did this with his motorcycle and it kinda worked.
You can read about his case here:
LTO: No registration, no travel policy starts November - Page 11
They (him and DTI reps) actually already had a meeting with some motorcycle/car dealers last thursday to discuss this issue (No Registration No Travel policy)

It will take a while bago nila ma implement yan.
Now, No announcement if tuloy ang November 10, as long as wala silang sinasabi na may memo na e hindi pa ito official. if napara kayo at nakikipagtalo si enforce, hingan ninyo ng IR (Implementing rules) or Memo na nagsasabi na simula na ang hulihan, as far as I know pag na approve ito, hindi din lahat pwede manghuli. yung mga taga LTO lang.

November 8th, 2014 12:26 PM #180I was browsing through the pages on the link posted from motorcyclephilippines.com and I saw this video. It's an interview with Atty. Teofilo Guadiz, regional director of LTO region 1.
What he said were the same, or almost the same statements that I heard before from LTO spokesperson Jason Salvado. Maganda naman ang explanation niya. Man, I am glad I have my OR/CR already but it will be a very uneasy drive for me whenever there is a checkpoint. You know how those cops work in group especially at night.
Ang mahirap nito kung wala kang OR/CR and invoice/s lang ang dala mo, if you frequent the area and nataon na same cops ang andoon and natandaan ka nila, patay ka. Lalo kung weekly may checkpoint.
Here is the link:

Kulitin niyo na ang mga agents niyo para maibigay kahit ung OR/CR lang.
Choice I would have made as well.
