So when I went to Honda BGC during lunch time today, I noticed that only their test drive unit (a Module City) had plates. The rest of the CITY and JAZZ units in the service area still have no plates.

Naiinis lang ako kasi ang dami ko nang nakikitang CITY and JAZZ 2014 na may plaka. Heck, I've even seen a couple of Brio's that already have plates on them.

Ang hina naman ng Honda BGC mag asikaso ng LTO matters.

Good kung magagawa nila yan. Saang dealer yan?

Nakuha ko oto ko nung 10/31.. nung tumawag ako sa dealer e for PNP Clearance palang daw.. then last week sinabi na kakapasok lang sa LTO.. tumawag ako sa LTO to check and sabi nila wala pa daw. tawag daw ako next week baka eencode palang.. >_<

Kaya matindi ang kapit ng dealer mo kung makuha mo yan in 2 weeks..

Honda Pasig dealer ko. I'm hopeful na mabigay nga niya after 2 weeks.

Ano na ba SOP ngayon? Will the invoice do the job pag wala pa OR/CR mo?

Honda Greenhills nga daw in 2 months may plaka na eh?

OT lang. Why are people so paranoid about their plates. I had none for 9 months and not once ako nasita. Hindi pa rin nakakabit plates ko though I am not using the car. It's not your fault naman if the dealer did not release on time.

I don't think it's the plate that people is or should paranoid about, it should be the registration.

Ang daming steps, may one week "resibo" ng car purchase, then may CSR, then may OR/CR stage, then may plates.

Cathy when mo nakuha OR/CR mo after getting your altis? Prior to getting it invoice lang talaga hawak mo? Dealer gave you multiple dates ba?

We got our plate for our Montero that was registered on the last week of April on the second week of October. For our Rio on the other hand, we got the plate only after two weeks from its registration on the 1st week of November.

yun nga ang masakit, mam. it's not our fault, and we, as law-abiding citizens, as much we would all want to have our registration/plates the soonest possible time, tayo naiipit kay dealer at kay lto. tingin ko nga, if all the paperworks ng registration/plates have to be accomplished on our end, at given na mabilis at "streamlined" na si lto, 2 or 3 business days would be enough. and, IF in the event na masita man tayo, at least, we have a concrete response and/or papers to show such as receipt to validate the application status of the registration/plates that these kotong peeps would ask for.

If that stupid LTO official changed the law to "Dealers will be fined 10000php for each car without license plates that gets apprehended." My paranoia will disappear.

i don't think the dealers are required to have the vehicles registered before releasing to the buyer. over the years, it became a "convenient service" which some entities wrongly interpreted as a required duty..
i wouldn't be surprised if, after all this, the dealers will say, "kayonang mga buyers ang bahalang mag-rehistro. hetong mga papeles..".
    heh heh.

THEN THE BETTE! Maglalaan ako ng (1) or (2) araw sa LTO para ma rehistro ko ang kotse ko. kesa maghintay ako ng napakatagal! hehehe!! ayaw ko kasi nung tipong "Wala kang magawa" and in the end ikaw mabibiktima ng mapang abuso sa daan.

In fairness wala pa naman ata nagpost dito about being apprehended dahil wala pa silang plates.

Aware na ata mga enforcers sa situation.

I think so. kasi kung may GO command na from LTO / MMDA e sigurado bawat kanto merong check point niyan. 10k - 15k ba naman ang penalty eh! imagine mo yung mga "makikiusap" kung magkano makukuha nila diba?
