I guess bluebimmer isa na tayo doon.

Hi everyone. My first post here. Got my Mazda3 last Sept 2. Si Anne R. of Mazda GH din AE ko. Pwede daw ilabas yung kotse for one week starting on the date indicated on the delivery receipt. She gave me a new DR dated September 10 last Saturday since wala pa rin plate ko.

    Hope this helps.

    from philstar.com

"DOTC Assistant Secretary Anneli Lontoc, who heads the Land Transportation Office (LTO) wrote to respond to complaints about delayed release of car plates for new car purchases. Such delays are penalizing new car owners who cannot use their new cars out of fear of being apprehended in the No Plate No Travel campaign of DILG Secretary Angie Reyes. Ms. Lontoc says there is no reason for delays because "we have thousands of plates in our offices."

A reader complained to us that his dealer told him he could get "early release" of his plates if he paid P2,500, no receipts, of course. Asec Lontoc wrote that "the problem really lies with the dealer, for not submitting complete documentation of the vehicle. But because, they need to appear good to their customers, they always say that LTO is the problem."

I suspect that the fixers working with the dealers are making a brisk business in the so-called "early release" of car plates when all along, the plates could be released immediately for so long as the documentation is complete. Asec Lontoc assured me they have streamlined the process of registration. "We have addressed the lack of plates."

"Perhaps," Ms. Lontoc wrote, "I can reach some of our motorists and vehicle buyers through your column...Should there be a problem of delayed issuance of plates, please let us know, by faxing to us, whatever documents you may have in your possession at fax no. 9219071 and/or calling us at 9219072."

Or e-mail her at arlontoc*lto.gov.ph. She responds to e-mails. "

they have thousands of plates in their offices????!!!! why do we have to wait for three weeks (yes three weeks) for our plates????? Thousands of plates, walang ending ng "5" so we have to have it changed again and paid additional 500 pesos???!!!!! :fire:

According to the TMG that's always in our shop, 9 out of 10 times when they impound a new car, they call the dealership and it always end up that the dealer was the one who didn't pick up the plates from LTO.

my mits adv was delivered Sept 01, Sept 05 had my car plate. what I did is to give them a deadline as to when they should the card plate.
the problem is with the car dealers, once they sold the rig, they go on slow follow-up the plate. Nakuha na kasi nila ang commission.
The only problem on car plate is when you are asking for a special no. which LTO has no stock and has to order to the plates manufacturer, however, this should not take more than two months as the information given to me by the plate manufacturer. the problem is padding (lagay) given to LTO who is holding it. connection is the name of the game.

Kami nga we waited for 3 weeks for our plates. LTO marikina is the one to blame (yun yung supplier ng plates for Honda Shaw). Ang tagal, kaya we decided to get the ending 9 instead. Nung the day before sasakto sa 3rd week yung pagaantay namin, tinawagan ako ng AE namin at sabi available na daw then pwede makuha after lunch the following day. Nagantay ako till 6:30pm pero wala pa din, so the AE decided nalang to meet the LTO Marikina rep and deliver it to our house. Sabi pa ni miss aneli lontoc ng LTO "we have hundreds of thousands of plates in our offices". BullSh*t di ba? Nag email ako sa kanya and nagulat siya sa mga sinabi ko about our plates. Anyway, hindi mo talaga magagamit yung car mo, same case tayo sir, halos 3 weeks naka kumot yung CR-V namin sa bahay kasi hindi namin mailabas dahil walang plates.

ok lang yan clavel, as long as you dont go through hotspots like makati, well especially makati..my bro used his city for a whole 2 weeks without getting caught. dapat mga 10 days meron ka nang plate bro. i-update mo lang lagi..kahit hindi sa AE mo, kahit sa mismong branch lang pa-connect ka sa LTO and registration section nila.
