Don't believe your agent, wala ding alam yung mga yun. As I have mentioned, I got my son's OR/CR few days ago-yung CR walang nakalagay na plate number.
Back to my previous query-pag may OR/CR ba hindi na huhulihin ng MMDA?
ang masama nito, it is the buyer of the car who is being penalized for something that is beyond his control.
considering that the delay can be traced either to the LTO or the dealer, sila dapat managot and not the buyer. kung may fine ang dealer/manufacturer for any untoward delay, i'm sure di nila iipunin bago i-process. so kung mahuli ang buyer nila, sila ang ituturo. pero, they wil be absolved if they are able to show na nabigay nila kaagad sa LTO.
if you ask me, the only time that the car owner/driver should be liable is when he deliberately refuses to attach the plate number, para di ma-coding.

Just watched tonight's news. The LTO will strictly enforce the "No plate, no run" policy? Any additional info on this? Meron nanaman bang bagong wave of hulian recently?
Totoo ba 'to?
After a week nag issue certification honda na di pa naririlease or/cr ko.

The National Anti-Kidnapping Task Force (NAKTF) reiterated yesterday it will start strictly implementing this week the "no plate, no travel" policy on all private and government vehicles nationwide.
NAKTF chief Angelo Reyes said task force members will start pulling over vehicles without license plates on Wednesday and start apprehending drivers who violate the order five days later, on March 15.
"I have given strict instructions to all units involved in the implementation of this directive to be firm and resolute in their efforts and spare no one, including police and military personnel," Reyes said.
According to Reyes, the policy will initially be implemented in Metro Manila but will expand later to other parts of the country.
Reyes said the move is intended to check the proliferation of vehicles without plate numbers.
He noted that most kidnapping incidents are perpetrated by suspects who use vehicles without license plates to avoid being tracked down easily.
Reyes said the NAKTF and the Philippine National Police (PNP) had a coordinating conference last week with officials of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on the implementation of the policy.
Tapped to assist the NAKTF are members of the Traffic Management Group (TMG) and local police units.
Reyes said he also met with members of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines under Jose Alvarez last Wednesday at the NAKTF headquarters at Camp Crame regarding the policy.
To curb kidnapping and other criminal activities, Reyes ordered last year the setting up of checkpoints all over Metro Manila and other key cities and municipalities.
Reyes said there was a notable decrease in kidnap cases in the metropolis since the NAKTF set up the checkpoints.
yeah.. sana po magawan nila ng paraan ang mabiils na paglalabas ng plates... and sana.. ipag bawal narin yung mga plates na drawing lang... but.. in that case dapat mabilis po mag release ng plates ang LTO... dahil... kawawa naman yung mga nanakawan ng plates... or kinalawang plates.. at wala silang pamalit... my opinion lang po... dapat bawal po pinturahan plates dahil... nagiging ndi uniform plates natin.. mahirap tuloy tukuyin kung tunay po or ndi..
