Weird. ADDA is only for electronic devices.

ADDA only covers electronic devices. She should've argued her case.

these enforcers should have copies of the adda about them, in case they have to show the apprehended, how wrong (or correct) they are.

Circulating post on Facebook links to ABS-CBN article now says even dashboard decorative items and signage signs on jeepneys are prohibited.

Who are the public officials behind this law? Diba usually naguunahan sila to claim na sila ang author? Bakit ngayon wala ata... And hindi ata nadiscuss maayos before implementation

Rosaries and Sampaguita leis has been added to the list of banned items...

Wala naman napala yung enforcer kaso yung abala na inabot nila just because of the Kleenex box medyo hassle.

Lesson learned for them is wag maglalgay ng kalat sa dashboard at baka mapara ng eager beaver [emoji1]

They admitted that heavily tinted cars are a challenge for them in daylight.

Ligtas pa mga heavily tinted cars pag umaga. Baka dumami magpa dark tint.

I don't like the no contact apprehension. It's not always that the driver is the owner of the vehicle.

so many "loopholes" on this adda..
will those responsible be man enough to even temporarily freeze its implementation?

if i may, they should have limited it to "bawal mag cellphone while vehicle is in motion. but kung 'hands-free operation', ay puede". marami pa sigurong papanig sa kanila, at bigyan pa sila ng medalya.

At least, it's not as bad as one traffic stop I witnessed in Upstate New York. A motorist was at a red stoplight. While waiting for green, he happened to gaze down and for a bit too long. The cops nailed him.

    Glad it wasn't me.

True. But, I have to say driving in Upstate New York was very pleasant. Beautiful scenery and "civilized" drivers.

Here in Arizona, there is no cell phone law (yet). I've had more aggravations this year so far than in all 7 years I spent in New York state.

I think, using an electronic gadget while driving is already sufficient enough. Only in the philippines!

There is also a disadvantage if heavily tinted ang car nyo, once they see a light inside, they would assume that your using ur gadget kahit yung katabi mo ang gumagamit...

Are there any penalty for MMDA enforcers if proven mali Sila pag bigay ng citation? Suspended ba Sila? Or temporarily suspended ba Sila while waiting for the adjudication board's decision sa contested violation?
