I did the same on my Xiaoyi Yi Dashcam and had no problem with suction cup type. Thanks.

Yes, I placed it there eversince. Yup, the suction mount did fall off a couple of times (around 5 times iirc). I park in a covered area (both home & office). I think it would fall off more if I park in an open area exposed to the sun. That's why I recently bought a rear view mirror clip from Lazada. With the rearview mirror clip, the placement of the dashcam was below the rearview mirror (I posted the pic 2 pages back). Then the diagram layout came out, so I had to discontinue using it & place it again behind the rearview mirror using the suction cup. Baka masita pa, P5k din yung penalty!

Ah, cool, thanks! Mukhang kailangan ng adhesive type na mount. Kaso wala atang nabibili na mount lang sa Lazada. Yung nakita ko ay yung suction-cup type. Yung adhesive kasi kasama sa unang bili ko na Yi dashcam, so pagnilipat ko na siya, sira na ang adhesive niya malamang. Mukhang kailangang gamitan ng DiY na 3M double-sided tape.

Today start ulit ng Antidistracted law diba..? bakit tahimik ata heheh..mahigpit ba talaga sila sa size ng phone? im using Note3 kasi when using Waze, need ko pa ata bumili ng isa pang Phone for navigation nito

according to topgear, the IRRs published june 13, are supposed to take effect 15 days later.
but it would be a good idea to revise our dashboard altars now.

Any recommended phone mounts that will accommodate big phones/phablets within the 4" limit of the IRR. Preferably not vent mounted ones...

Ganyan nga mirror mount na gamit ko. Naka bend lang horizontally (upward hanggat kaya) yung middle portion para tumaas ang position ng dashcam
