i drove at NLEX today, putik, people really don't know how to drive! pag lulusot ka at magbra-bright, yung iba di tumatabi! bwiset!

i'm thankful for the convenience of the NLEX, but coz of what i experienced today, i'm still compelled to believe that THE AVERAGE FILIPINO DRIVER DOESN'T DESERVE A GOOD HIGHWAY AS THE NLEX!

ok. vented it out. well, the price of admission should only serve to deter uneducated drivers. the LTO better be more strict in churning out licenses! dapat may points system na rin dito eh!

dapat gawin nila a particular prescribed speed per lane, parang autobahn...sayang kalye at oras eh.
    parang:
-mga lulusot at tatakbo ng 120 pataas, left lane
    -steady100-110 ginta
-trucks, buses, pujs, UVs, exiting vehicles sa kanan...

all cars entering expwy must be properly equipped with a calibrated speedometer!

I was caught by this MNTC police dog, i was doing 194kph daw, had it been 120kph palulusutin nya daw ko, sabi ko bakit yung Altis na hinabol ko hindi niyo hinuli, He answered boss, nahuli rin po siya sa Concepcion and he showed me the picture of my Altis i was telling him and my Strada

There was a snapshot pic of my front, with my plate number (wow so clear hindi blurred), car side to emphasize its color and and the back, then written below the every photos are the digital print out of my speedometer reading caught by their radar. Walang lusot! F$%k bayad ako sa LTO Central Office 950 pesos para walang seminar, he offered me another option, instead of my license he would rather remove my plate for a longer redemption period of 7 days, pag license kasi 3 days lang tutubusin mo na. Of course with a gruesome amount of 1,500

Hayyyyy! Kainis, sarap kasi humataw, bulsa ko nahataw, pain in the ass! So guys random lang sila manghuli and this time my friend in another car naman ang nadale pauwi from Baguio, so its true lightning always struck on the same place but on a different time and victim!

^^ This is why you have to be on the look out for those NLEX/SCTEX patrol vehicles. They are unmarked white AUVs (or pickups for the SCTEX) parked on the side of the highway or on top of overhead crossings. On the SCTEX, you can see them a long way ahead on the long straights, just be careful on the blind rises on some of these long straights.

For those who can afford it, a good radar detector can be a great backup to your own eyes.

I think 100-120kph is safe para di kayo mahuli..

ginagawa ko naman ..umaabot lang ako 120 kph kapag overtake..pero kapag hinde naman nilalaro ko lang sa 100-115..minsan pitik ng 120kph..

basta ingat na lang mga kabayan...better safe than sorry ika nga.

Check this out. This is where they post speed-limit violators on Commonwealth Ave. 70kph ang lowest na nahuli, so 60-70kph ang "allowance" nila? Also says there, Loc: TECHNONUB FTBRDGE CMNWLTH e tuwing nadadaan ako dun minsan wala naman nanghuhuli.

Suki yung blue FD, 128kph and 100kph sa Technohub. 2 beses nahuli magkaibang dates. :hysterical:

E^ Chiks, mukhang sa isang mataas na lugar nakapwesto ang speed gun. Fixed kaya ?

Lintek ang tindi nung FD. 128kph sa Commonwealth !

Teka, wala bang speed limit sa C5/Libis ? ...

The radar/laser speedguns on Commonwealth are positioned on the pedestrian overpasses and only there, hence the "looking down" shot of the pictures.

This was pretty much known from the initial launch of the speedlimit on Commonwealth. You can see the location (pedestrian overpass) when the speedgun operators were interviewed on TV.

what band are the local enforcement using dito sa pinas? i am deciding on which to get - Escort 9500ix or Bel RX65. the bad news kapag laser hand held gamit ng pulis, the time you get notified by your radar detector is when the police already zapped and got your speed. yes, the radar detector detects the laser... but only when the authorities are done zapping your car.
