I never bother getting my sticker last year as long as I have my OR stamped. Never been flagged down. At May na ulet papa-rehistro na ulet... Hay kay bilis ng panahon.

So nung mga panahon na ito pwede pala ako maging part time carnapper...Bakit ba napaka inutil ng gobyerno natin?

Special plates will also be replaced with the new format plates. But the plate number will be retained.

di ba nakaindicate sa new plates kung anong region ito registered? ano mangyayari sa mga cars na first registered sa ncr then magrerenew sa mga provinces? mapapalitan b ito lets say kung sa pampanga ka nag renew magiging region 3 na ung plate mo?

According to a previous post, vehicles registered Feb 17 onwards will receive the new format plates. Unless your vehicle was registered by that timeframe, old format plate will be assigned to your vehicle. You will need to pay P450 after three years to convert it to the new format.

Is that the new plate already? Parang mas mahaba sya sa current plates. Halos hindi na magkasya yung current plates natin sa likod ng ibang mga cars, pano pa kaya ito?

First batch of new plates arrived..

Pero yung sticker namin wala parin. Sa October na ako mag rerenew wala parin yung sticker. WTH LTO..

Sir, may I know where you got confirmation on this? Does this apply rin sa mga special plates? For example

ABC 111 will become ABC 0111?
ABC 01 will become ABC 0001?

Kasi parang nasayang yung binayad mo pag ganon nagmukhang regular number lang. I called LTO kanina to inquire if they are already offering special plates na ABC 1111 pero wala pa daw sa ngayon. And if you get a special plate daw ngayon, like ABC 01 they will still give you the old plate design and you'll have to wait another 3 years to get the new plate design. Pero ang lagi nilang sinasabi wala pa silang directive about special plates and how it will apply to the new format.

medyo naiintriga lang din ako dito sa new plates ng LTO. may 2 kaming tsikot na ireregister sa July at august. will they give a brand new set of plates (a different set of letters and numbers) or they will only add "0" to the previous plate number as number001 said?

Ayos yung idea na kusang mapuputol yung upper part ng nut kapag in placed na sya, galing!

Kaya lang knowing pinoys, gagawa at gagawa sila ng paraan para matanggal yung screw without showing any signs of tampering onto it (drilling a very fine hole in the middle then reverse nila to unscrew).

As to those who have special plates, i think it would only be correct to retain whatever you have written in your old plates, for vanity plates' sake. Sayang naman if nagbayad ka ng 35K tapos maiiba na plate number mo, or else malalagyan ng zero sa harap

Let's wait and see if these will be beneficial to all.
