lame bait. haha! just because we complained of this and that wag na parehistro? sorry but we civilized citizens know our duties and responsibilities. that includes the annual registration of our vehicles. sadyang may karapatan lang kami mag post ng opinion namin sa isang forum tulad ng tsikot.

its like telling kids to leave home when their parents are forcing them to wear nerdy clothes when they just want to tell their parents those clothes s*ck.

Owning a vehicle is a privilege not a right. It's something a lot of hardworking Filipinos aspire to but only a lucky few like us can afford. So suck it up and count your blessings.

OT: i dont know if we're just lucky but we never encountered problems with the release of stickers both old and new vehicles, just the usual 3-month delay in the releasing of the then-new plates for a new vehicle.

    swertehan lang ata sa stickers.

is there a space alloted for plate stickers? hopefully wala nang plate stickers, redundant and usualy cause of pagdumi/gusgusin look ng plaka lalo sa mga taxi at PUJ. windshield sticker nalang.

no space allotted on the actual plate. very clean look. not sure lang if wala na talagang ididikit na plate sticker. yung windshield sticker ang sure.

Can the plates be mounted using other screws? Or only the provided screw will do the job which i assume.

Ako din agree ako dito, for uniformity and standardization? I'd say yes.

Sana smooth implementation na lang, birth pains is really unavoidable. Goodluck sa LTO and satin lahat.

You can use ordinary bolts to attach the new plates. I'm sure LTO will find a way to strictly enforce and penalize for the (non)use of the supplied breakable bolts. Since using ordinary bolts defeats LTO's intention(s).

"to change the design of the plate to match the new one, but the plate numbers will not change."

For me the reply is really consistent to what LTO has bee letting the public on, through its press releases.

Issued plates with old design (ie. Rizal, Angat Pinoy 2004, Philippines 2000 or earlier) will retain all alpha and numeric characters. So if your current plate is NBI-123, it will become NBI-0123. Notice the addition of "0" in the front ?

Again, Only the design of the plate will be replaced.

Don sa reply sabi plate numbers will NOT change, di naman sinabing lalagyan nang zero sa unahan, so same lang na 3 alpha and 3 numeric pero new design in black font on white background.

eto rin intindi ko. kaso gaano nga kaya katagal bago nila ma-issue yung new plates natin? unless they have the machinery on-site, most likely babalikan pa natin on a specified date yung plaka. pero isang palit plaka lang naman so not bad. sana lang pag pinapunta tayo sa specified date ay ready na talaga yung plaka.

SECTION 4 of the LTO Memorandum states within 45 days from the renewal of motor vehicle registration.. so babalikan pa talaga.
