New LTO licenses out in Aug. | Inquirer News

    Ang tanong......

Since the new licenses are cheaper by 70 pesos.... I rerefund ba nila yun para sa mga taong naka renew na? O ibulbulsa lang nila?
I know 70 pesos is small change for most of us, but considering if there are let's say, 100,000 drivers who have renewed from January to June 2015..... that's 7M pesos in excess.....

Mababa pa ata yung estimate figures ko na 100,000 drivers lang ang possibleng nagrenew for that time frame..... What if 1M drivers? that's 70M pesos.

Since my temporary driver's license was extended to September 2015, sa September ko na try balikan ang LTO.

From what I heard in the news a few days back is subject for approval pa raw yang pagbabawas ng price.

Mas naawa pa ako dun sa ofw na walang makuha na license card tapos aalis na this July. Useless daw for him yung tempo license

just curious.... if decrease of price needs approval. how come LTO charged additional fees for replacement plates without prior approval?

    Mga Tsikoteers,

I'm due for license renewal this month. Can anyone advise which LTO branch or its mall extension sites can issue the regular plastic cards? Good news is what some of us needs right now.

My luck has run out. Went to LTO Marikina, queued for one and a half hours, paid 418, and call their office for pickup. That is, if my call gets picked up. This is not a good year for a LTO customer.
