Doable. I came in 425pm, finished by 450pm. Wala lang card during that time so paper license lang. that i dont mind, basta may license[emoji51]

In fairness sa LTO, binalikan ko kanina.

Mabilis na talaga ang process nila, i gave my receipt. Waited for my name to be called.

Pina review details ko, kuha biometrics and picture. Then after 5 minutes printed na ID.

The whole process took me more or less 15 minutes.

Yung mga nagparenew before Oct. 2016 ay 3 years pa din. Magantay lang para sa ID pero beyond oct 2016 need pa magpaschedule at parang babalik ka sa process ng renewal except sa medical. All in all, mga 4 na beses ka pipila para makuha mo ID mo [emoji23]

In my case, babalik ako sa July at 5 years validity na.

nakasabay ko sa LTO post office last month.
ako, car registration.
siya, driver's license renewal.
in less than 45 minutes total, he got his 5-year DL plastic card.

My brother went to LTO for his license card, he already renewed his license last year and LTO gave him only the receipt. LTO said the the schedule for his license card to be printed is 2019. I said that's a big bull.

We're thinking if it's possible to just file an affidavit of loss and file a license renewal again, considering that I also applied for renewal just last month and I got the card within 3hours, 3 quick hours. . Will this be a practical route for him?

Yes, Robinson's Galleria ako nag pa print. Went there late in the afternoon, I think around 4:30-5 na and was out of there in about 15 minutes.

visited LTO last Friday to claim my plastic card... they just gave me an application to fill up for my details and they scribbled a running number together with a date 5/22/2018. hindi talaga ako makapaniwala kung anong klaseng LTO meron kami dito sa norte! waited for almost 2 years and yet still they can't do it right for the second time around.

If your wiling to pay and go through all that hassle just to get a valid government ID, you can just buy a Postal ID, 300 kesos.
