Renewed my DL last May but got a paper . Called LTO tayuman and they said I can get the DL every Saturday but need to come very early.

Went in line yesterday, 7am. Nahawakan ko 5 yr license ko at exactly 12:15 in the afternoon.

Sakit sa bangs, sobrang tagal ng proseso kasi kailangan ulit nila e-encode lahat ng details plus pic and biometrics

Sabi ng checker sa front desk na 5 minutes to encode and process isang tao. more or less 10 people per hour... dadagan pa yung mga bagong renewal ng lisensya at bagong apply...

in the olden days, hinihintay lang yan, o 'di kaya, "come back in 60 days", at nandoon na nga.
so, aside from the shortage in plastic cards, what else has changed, causing the delay?

Mukhang sakto yan. #60 ako sa pila nun pagdating ko ng 7am pero they have 4 cameras or stations that are working for picture and biometrics.

Dagdag mo pa yun mga senior citizen/pwd/buntis na di na kailangan kumuha ng number at priority.

Kodak ulit, sir, kahit yun backlog nila sa renewal. Lahat picture taking and biometrics.

Sama mo pa yun pagcheck ng details mo after nila ilagay sa system ULIT. Kaya make sure tama lahat para wala ng reprinting ng ID at masayang oras. May narinig kasi ako na 5 yrs na dapat card niya pero 3 yrs lang nailagay, kaya hintay ulit para ireprint ang DL.

or, these are all new applicants?

For those just getting your 5-year backlog plastic, you have to fill up a new form which includes your blood type and parents name, kahit decease na, At kailangan muli kunin ng biometrics fingerprinting at picture. Yung fingerprinting sa isang scanning machine. Best is to get the new form and fill it up before going to LTO para makakuha agad ng number.

Not sure kasi 5 yrs DL lang tinatanggap kapag saturday.

May mga pumupunta para sa 3 yr license, sinasabi ng LTO personnel sa labas, wala daw release ng 3 yr license, 5 yrs lang daw.

Paano kaya ako. 3 yr license pero paper receipt ko 1 yr valid lang na mag expire na in 2 weeks

Andito ako sa LTO San Juan ngayon para kunin yung license card ko. Nasa baba pala yung releasing. Nung binigay sa akin yung papel kung anong oras ko makukuha, potek 3-4pm daw! Ang aga aga ko tapos 3pm pa!
